  1. I accessed it on my works 'puter. I don't think there is anything to worry about. though admittedly i know FA about computers.
  2. http://www.pompeyonline.com/forums Seems a Morrocan Gang have Hacked P.O.L.!!!! What ever next?
  3. Sorry Nick but good effort, keep trying.
  4. 1)I dont call you Pony ****gers etc. 2)You'll always be Scummers. 3)Don't know about the Dockyard strike, it probably is bull****. 4)Hillbillies is fine by me. Though i'm sure there are more imaginative/Hurtful names out there?
  5. Thanks for the offer Stu, but i'll keep my hands in my pockets for now. I'm looking forward to settling down with a cup of tea and bickies Saturday lunchtime and seeing what all the fuss is about. I think maybe your bet could be a close run thing. I'm tipping Pompey for between 10-12th place, like you say I aint seen Southampton so I can't fairly comment on them yet.
  6. Your right I have not seen any of the games, I'm gonna get a good look this Saturday when you play Blackpool, I'm interested to see for myself what all the excitement is about. I just found it funny how in the space of 90 minutes the majority on this board went from wrist slashing mode to conquerors of the universe after the 1-0 Derby result.
  7. Well if you can't reason, then as far as i'm concerned you might as well be an animal, the ability to reason is one of the only things that sets us apart from other creatures (oh, and indexible thumbs).
  8. Nah, eyes K8 just don't agree with me, differing opinions is what makes it all so interesting.
  9. I never said Perrin was the best manager ever or anything, I was just comparing the two set ups. Perrin did well with what he had. He may of felt that Taylor had a bad attitude, I dont know? He was a good coach and has gone on to coach again at a higher level. You may think I'm on drugs, fine thats your opinion. However I feel that his coaching was superior to Redknapp's and Perrin also made tactical changes that altered the course of a game, when was the last time Redknapp did that? If you ask me who I'd rather have, I'd say Redknapp, but all the things you accuse Perrin of were not his doing, except his being unpopular with some players, Perrin was a disciplinarian and like Christian Gross and similar continental types, it does not go down well with the pampered premiership players.
  10. Okay Nick, 3/10 Orginality, 3/10 Humour, Happier?
  11. That would explain why despite early concern's we got on swimmingly with the cardiff fans at Wembley. I do love the way that people are admiting that whilst Southampton is ACTUALLY more pikey, Portsmouth are pikeys because were 'like' pikeys!?! It would be better if the term was dropped altogether because A) Its factually completely incorrect and wrongly applied and B) Its a nasty term which is demeaning to a prominant section of Southampton society.
  12. You watch Come Dancing? I'd keep that quiet Nick.
  13. BOOM TISH! You made that one up yourself didn't you Nick. 10/10 for Originality. 2/10 for Humour.
  14. This ****ing swear filters a ****ing ****ing pile of plop. ****ing thing.
  15. And dont forget when we amass 2 points you can dig out the old chestnut. "What have Pompey and a ****tail stick got in common?", groan. Ps. Sorry if I spoilt it for you...
  16. Well Nick, I'd say in the current climate thats a positive.
  17. BLUE ARMY INNIT!
  18. Yeah I'd agree Hamster, I think you've probably hit the nail on the head. Yeah somerstown is an interesting area of Portsmouth, as a child I lived down Margate Rd, before my mum moved to North End (Incidentaly my mum and step father are both Life long Saints), Luckily I think I got out of Somerstown early enough to avoid any long term psychological damage.
  19. Ok thanks Andy, I guess that clears things up?
  20. Hey! My Great Grandfather's called Mary (so thats why my middle names Carlos.) D'you write 'Horrible History' books? if not you should!
  21. Nice to find you in good form tonight Nick.
  22. I'm really glad you took the time to post that exit2, I did not know the specific areas or roads where i've seen the urban cowboys and I know my wife aint lying about the number of kids who have entered 'Gypsey' as their ethnicity. The people in some kind of pathetic denial clearly don't know their own city very well and there condescending attitude to some of their fellow fans is sadly indicative of our 'smart arse' society today. Can I re-iterate I never started this thread as a put down of Authentic travellers, but to highlight the Irony that Southampton fans should throw these derogatory terms at Pompey fans, when the truth of the matter is that Southampton has a very rich gypsey heritage with many, many traveller families living in Southampton and supporting the Saints in contrast to Portsmouth which does not. I went to school with a member of the Barney family and he and his brothers were VERY staunch Saints fans and would box the ears of people who threw these terms around willy-nilly, nice guys but i'd be f****d if i'd get on the wrong side of 'em. I think it's disappointing that some Saints fans can be so dismissive of a large element of their own city and their own support.
  23. So your saying is your an expert on the distinguishing features of Pompey fans. Funny talent to aquire?
  24. Your not even joking are you Denzil?
  25. Your not wrong. Though currently opinion appears to be divided as some people say it's indicative of how the 'working classes' are being forced out of football. I'm in the thank f*** for that camp.
