sunderland get bigger crowds than we do. How is their champions league push going?

How are Everton at a similar level to use when they are a big club, established in top flight and challenging for 4th and we are struggling to avoid the drop in our first season back?

So the justification for doing it right now is what exactly??? Please explain as i'm failing to see anyone make a convincing argument about it. As for the season ticket, i will actualy be missing some games after march, nothing to do with what is going on at the club though. Cant you read? As i quite clearly said, last week people were prasing Adkins and saying how well we were doing with a squad which was made up of quite a few league one players. This week they are justifying the sacking because we aren't doing well enough with the amount of money we've spent. which one is it? People do seem to have an opinion, but it seems to change depending on what the chairman does.

Got to love this forum. Justifying Nigels sacking because 15th place isn't good enough with what we've spent, when only last week people were saying how well we were doing (not you BTW) with our L1 squad worth 1/3 of what Newcastles is!

Some of the people posting "oh but it wont make a difference" crack me up. Such hypocrisy. They'l have a go at Pompey because they didnt question what was going on when they were playing AC Milan and winning the FA Cup and enjoying their moment in the sun. Yet in the next breath wont dare saying anything against their heroes running SFC because it wont make a difference.

true. It's not the new guys fault and what we dont want to do is get in the situation where he is also beaten with the same stick, simply because he's not Nigel Adkins. He's done what most of us would do, taken a good job where he has the opportunity to grow his reputation. The way the whole thing has been dealt with though is a disgrace.

Well you are not very aware then because a couple of years ago there was "outrage" from some PC mugs about Man United fans singing "die, die Glazier, F*cking die" during a match against Hull. They won 4-0 by the way so the chanting didn't cost the 3 points.

Your first point is so pathetic i'm not even going to respond to it. Success for Saints this season was staying up. Nigel was well on course to do that, we were on a good run, the fans and players werre fully behind him. Now Cortese has taken the decision to sack that man, appoint a manager with 17 games to go who doesn't know the premier league, hardly has an incredible record himself and doesn't even f8cking well speak English!! He's turned the positve and optimisitc atmosphere of the fans into an angry and shocked one. I could understand it if he'd been sacked after WBA or Nigel was given the season and it reviewed then. I'm struggling to see why this is the right decsion right now, perhaps you can explain.

As has already been said, the Man United fans are anti Glaziers. Some of their fans were so angry they set up a new club!!! How is that working out for them? How is that effecting their results?

id like to hear Niges take on his time at saints, particularly the last year 9 months or so when he was clearly a dead man walking. I doubt we ever will though as he's too honourable and i would imagine like many, many other ex employees under NDA.

Well it'll show the chairman and sky TV that we back Adkins and dont back the decision, I'll be singing Nigels name on monday night as will most people i know that are going. What will you be doing? Watching it on the telly if at all?
