I agree as this is the forum where people are constantly reminding us how popular it is when anyone says it isn’t it’s surprising there isn’t more discussion about what has been recently called a major final, which it is.

So it was but the cull was because no one was talking about the football supposedly. It’s pretty incredible that with it being so popular there isn’t more discussion. So if Adams and Tella want to negotiate and we can only offer them say £20k a week now but £40k a week if we go but they can’t get £40k a week tomorrow by joining Everton it’s not that great for them is it. What we should be doing if they’re both not pushing to leave is saying stay with us for another season if we go up we’ll offer you premier league contracts if we don’t you can go then.

If it’s true Adams and Tella aren’t pushing for a move and are happy to stay unless we want them to go then selling them is madness. They could get 40-50 goals this season between them.

A win, a late win but a win and so far a great start to the season. I hope unless we get a huge injury list this will be the weakest saints team we put out this season. You’d expect a couple on incomings next week and at least a couple more before deadline day. Just hope we keep Adams and Tella, they have game winning quality at this level.

I agree. If Adams and Tella are pushing for moves then that’s different but if they are okay with staying then we are selling two quality players and this level and I’d be really disappointed. We’ve brought a fortune so far with tens of millions more if/when Sully, ABK and KWP go. I’d be very disappointed if we sold Tella and Adams now, sadly I think at least one will go
