Fair play to Djenepo I thought he was superb today. If he can maintain this level then we are ok at full back. I think we need a few more performances like today to convince the majority of us but he surprised me as I didn't expect him to do so well playing as part of a back 4.

We have the nucleus of what could be a very very good young side. For me there are two crucial pieces missing from the jigsaw. If we can find those pieces before the window closes we can become a match for most teams. If we don't find them then I fear it will be a struggle and we will have wasted the good work already done in bringing in our young stars. The two pieces to the jigsaw are a quality, hungry young striker and a creative number 10 who can control the tempo, create opportunities, go by opponents and weigh in with a few goals. We are close but much depends on what happens between now and Aug 31st in my opinion. It can go either way.

Another 6 and we loosen the chains round the 9-0 monkey on our backs.
