Suspect we'll get hammered in this game.
-
Yeah, pretty minor things for a football club....hardly crucial.
-
If we are getting new owners not sure why so many think it's bad news. We'd be very unlucky to be bought by someone as incompetent as SR who have been nothing short of a disaster for this football club.
-
Another excellent press conference from Rusk. I have no clue how far this guy can go in the game but you can't help but warm to him.
-
He again looked an absolute donkey.
-
That's two of next season's relegation spots for the Premier League sorted, one to be decided.
-
Rusk unbeaten in away games 🙂
-
Yes, Spors start with a clean sheet. However, I think many of us are nervous that Rasmus Ankersen will somehow still find a way to meddle. Don't bother quoting me changes in structure of SR because I am aware of them but I suspect the ego that is Ankersen will attempt to interfere wherever he can and that is an issue.

Don't forget Shane Long's fastest ever goal timed at 7.69 seconds. That'll take some beating.
-
I doubt very much that many of them will have options above the Championship. They have demonstrated how poor they are so who will want them?
-
Time to cut the sugar coating and give these losers a few solid home truths. They've had it far too easy for far too long.
-
What a miserable, hopeless, feckless bunch of players. A talent pool more shallow than an oasis. They do not deserve the riches they earn and have collectively brought lasting shame to this football club. Every game we see the same feeble effort and lack of even the most basic requirements. They must feel such shame as yet another match slips by and they are beaten so easily. What on earth do they do in training? It's a disgrace.

Who the fuck gives a shit?

Who is up next to shoot fish in a barrel?

Was impressed with Rusk at the press conference. His responses were measured and, without being glib, he showed that he cares deeply about this football club, its players and fans. It would be great to see him pick up a few results in the final seven games although he clearly has a massive task on his hands.

Let's avoid going for managers with a particular style. We need someone who is happy to try different formations to suit the occasion. Don't mind a preferred style but let's not tie ourselves to a manager welded to one way of playing - we've been down that particular road. A good coach is adaptable and that's what we need.
-
If he's highly regarded then we remain deep in the mire. Just trying to think of a few things that might lead to him being highly regarded in terms of Southampton FC.....nope, can't think of any.
-
Who in their right mind knocks on the manager's door and asks him to arrange for cancellation of his 20k plus weekly salary? I suspect nobody on this forum would even contemplate such an action were they in Stewart's shoes.
-
There remains an elephant in the room pushing levers and sticking his trunk where it's not wanted - Rasmus has not gone away and is likely to be in the ear of Spors.
-
That should give him a squad of about three players to pick from.
-
If Rasmus is still pulling some of the strings we are well and truly stuffed.
-
Don't be...McDonalds are hiring.
-
He'll be wanted by Liverpool.
-
Whoever we appoint will be unable to do a job unless we finally sign some big, strong athletic players who don't get knocked over by a puff of breeze. The current squad is packed full of weaklings of mind and body. Let's build a powerful blood and thunder side that opponents will not take lightly.

You couldn't give most of these chumps away for free - there'd be no takers. Bunch of no hopers.
