Glad to hear he called out the onfield cheating that goes on in every game of football and makes the EFL look like a bunch of imbeciles because they condone it by allowing it to continue. Hypocrites.
-
More reason for him to shut the fuck up considering the things Pompey have got up to over the years.
-
Crook is an airhead, an empty vessel. He has nothing of real value to say about anything football related. He's used the whole spygate affair to put himself front and central on Talk Sport and is desperately trying to make himself sound relevant. He's a nobody trying hard to be a somebody.
-
Predictable if nothing else 🙂
-
Took him long enough. Been far too mealy mouthed over this whole affair.

Steady on Adam. Next you'll be coming out and saying something in support of the club rather than joining in the general media pile on.
-
Can you or anyone else say that you have never made an error? The person who never made an error never made anything. Time to forgive fully - no half way house here.

Dragan saying 'circle the fucking wagons' There are some on here would do well to listen.
-
There is zero proof of this.

I think this should be in the present tense because the EFL clearly do not hold to those standards. It's clear that they don't because they make zero effort to do anything about all the onfield cheating that goes on in every game of football. It's double standards and they should be taking a good long look in the mirror because they wont like what they see reflected back.

Great words from Dragan.

BBC continue to join in the pile on and you have to wonder what their agenda is against our football club. Could some of it possibly stem from the fact that Rishi Sunak is a fan and they clearly hate all conservatives?

Wouldn't shock me to hear Boro paid for his train fare home 🙂
-
It also begs the question of why the Boro photographer was prowling around with a powerful zoom lens and decided that some guy with a phone camera 400 yards away could only have been a spy.
-
Not sure Solak would consider that reason enough to shell out the monumental legal fees they will be charging.
-
FIFA that bastion of integrity and moral values. Corrupt as a bent copper.

Let's put it this way, in the charge of spying we claimed we gained no advantage. The EFL and enquiry stated it wasn't whether there was advantage gained it was the intent to gain an advantage. Same applies with Winnie - nobody can say he was biased but he might have been. He should have declared his connection to Boro and excused himself from forming part of the panel. The legal woman should probably have done the same. There is no room for such ambiguity in such high stakes enquiries so it was unfair to us and we can well imagine the furore if the boot was on the other foot. How hard was it to make sure the panel had zero connection with either club?

Haven't we appointed these hotshot lawyers that look after Man City? We must have something up our sleeve if we're paying their fees.
-
Should have got a train then instead of getting us into all this shit.

I think I read in the Appeals statement that Eckert expressed annoyance that the analyst had not done the Boro spying on the Wednesday which would have been outside the 72 hours. Did Salt go up on the wrong day despite instructions to go on Wednesday? If so why? Still lots of anomalies in this.
-
No, it's not nearly as bad as the cheating that goes on in every game. The EFL make themselves look fools by not attempting to clear the cheating in games while punishing us for an offence that has far less bearing on a match.
-
I don't think this statement needed to apologise to the fans as it is a response to the written reasons given by the Arbitration Panel to knock back our appeal against the original decision. It would be interesting to read the full text of the Arbitration Panel statement so I'm assuming that will be made public shortly.
-
Given the time the club has had to come up with a response this is weak and wishy washy. Maybe they feel the best thing is not to rock any particular boats so they've opted for this bland statement. I'd have preferred something diplomatic but a little more hard nosed. I'm guessing the club has decided to draw a line under the whole saga and move on. My feeling from the statement is that they probably wanted to say more but this is what they've come up with through slightly gritted teeth.

Presume the clubs in question are nightclubs.

Much less of an edge than ignoring the ffp rules and winning promotion I'd say 🙂 Far less cheating involved too and we received a far harsher penalty than anything dished out to Leicester.
