This is my take as well. Maybe he's trying to keep Leicester guessing, we'll see.

Eckert said there'll be a couple of changes and went on to talk about Stephens and Wellington needing scans so assume neither of them will play. Can't imagine he'll start Archer up front as main striker after Tuesday so maybe Larin starts. Could be something like; Peretz Bree THB Quarshie Manning Downes Charles Fellows Azaz Scienza Larin

Calm down. I'm merely quoting what Eckert said himself and not in a critical way so not sure why you are spitting such bile 🙂

Do you think he's bitter? Didn't seem to take the defeat well. Calls us lucky - maybe he should look at the match stats because we came out on top in every aspect. Gave me a good chuckle watching this half wit ranting away.

He's amassed 34 points from his 19 games in charge which would equate to 82 points over a season which is very decent for such a novice.

It's a difficult one because our system falls down badly unless we have a big guy up front and the two we have are struggling with fitness. If we have to start Archer again then chances are we'll see more poor first halves although hopefully not as bad as last night.

Stewart actually got a little flick on the ball leading to Manning's goal so should go down as an assist.

I'm guessing Leicester will have to consider resting some of their better players seeing as they are now in a battle to avoid relegation. If that proves the case then we should be able to field a decent team capable of beating them.

Leicester football club and their fans must feel like they've just had their 6 point deduction extended to 9 after last night's second half. They'd have virtually banked the 3 points at half time with a 3-0 lead 🙂

Unfortunately Archer doesn't fit our style of play. He's better playing on the shoulder of a big man. In fact, he's far less effective than Arma was as a centre forward playing through the middle.

I take your point but Eckert more or less admitted in after match interviews that the players more or less sorted things out between themselves at half time.

Quite simply his introduction was the main game changer last night.

He was immense. A goal plus two assists. What a great shame injuries have meant we've hardly been able to enjoy such a gifted footballer. His deft finish today was a sublime touch as was the calm way he perfectly set up Charles for the winner - and what a goal that was by the way, top drawer to curl that in at such a crucial time.

Do you think we should have been praising the coach and players in the first half? Most of us judge what we are seeing and comment accordingly. You may wear red and white tinted glasses that allow you to smugly take the higher moral ground and I have no issue with that but no need to sneer at others.

Ah fuck it, I'll admit Tonda was right to start Archer. If he hadn't we'd probably have sneaked a boring narrow win or draw. His decision led to a stunning come back and a game the like of which we've rarely, if ever, seen before. Fair play for setting us up for a night to remember Tonda.

Big shout out to Ross Stewart. He came on at half time and was instrumental in getting us back into the game. Deserves moments like this after his injury issues and praying he gets an injury free run because he's a good footballer and we need him if we want to push for a play-off spot.

No need because he clearly got the team selection wrong and the first half was abject. We won in spite of him rather than because of him. Doesn't make anyone who called him out an idiot because it was proved.

Brilliant win. Wonder how many we'd have won by if we'd started Stewart 🙂 The Leicester forum will be interesting.
