If I'm right he was instrumental in us signing Leo so he did something good for the club.

Good shout.

Things were a lot simpler when paper tickets were sold in person at the club booking office. Ok you had to go there and queue but online applications for electronic tickets is the stuff of nightmares. New technology is not always best. Just my opinion and many will disagree.

Peretz Bree THB Stephens Wellington Downes Jander Azaz Archer Larin Leo

He's had many chances but continues to underperform apart from the odd moment or two. Think we might move him on in the summer. Despite not having had much game time I thought Archer played the wide role very well last night and weighed in with a superb goal and a brilliant assist. Think Tonda should consider playing Archer wide right, Leo wide left and Larin through the middle. With Azaz pulling the strings that would be quite a front line.
-
Manning was laughing - he knew there was nothing in the challenge. Guy went down as though a sniper had shot him. Ref was never going to even consider giving a penalty for that.
-
That's the way Tonda looks at it and he seems to know a thing or two.

I think there's a case to be made for Archer to replace Fellows on the right with Leo on the left and Larin through the middle. Archer is a goal scorer, has pace and is more of a threat than Fellows who has been a disappointment if I'm honest. Leo, Larin and Archer would potentially make a superb front three and Archer will only get better with more matches..

No need for me to google it because I was replying to a poster who suggested that Matsuki was looking at the goal rather than the ball 🙂
-
Boro have zero wins/3 draws and 3 losses in six, Millwall have two wins, two draws and two losses, Ipswich have 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss. Oh and we have six wins out of six 🙂
-
Strange thing for a pro footballer to do 🙂
-
I'll counter that by saying Matsuki missed an absolute sitter that would have made it 3-0.
-
In this scenario it is highly likely our 4 wins including one against Ipswich will see us with a superior goal difference to them. They'll have lost two games including the one against us where the goal swing is doubled.
-
Well if we beat them in your scenario that we win all four games it means they can only lose one more game. There is a lot of pressure on them and they're not playing that well as proved tonight.
-
Welcome back.

Matsuki should have killed the game off to give us a more comfortable second half. Still trying to figure out how he failed to score - a slight bobble as he shot is all I can give him but he still should get his knee over the ball to keep it low.

Larin is making a case to be one of the first names on the team sheet now he has reached the required fitness levels. He looks to be loving every minute and is a handful for any defence which is vital when we're trying to break down stubborn defences. A few weeks ago I'd have said Ross because he's a better footballer but Larin just gives us that battering ram we need so he shades it for me.
-
Nothing is easy in this pressure cooker situation. We have built up incredible momentum which will help us because we are now supremely confident every time we step on the pitch. Our rivals will be feeling it right now.
-
39 points from a possible 45 is some going at any level. Add in cup wins against Fulham and Arsenal to secure a trip to Wembley for the semi final. Take a fucking bow Tonda.
-
I get what you say but two of the goals were superb and Matsuki should have added another. With a much changed team we still played some excellent stuff. Ok, there were spells in the second half when we eased off a little too much but this is a tough schedule and no team can play flat out for 90 minutes.
-
Yeah, I was trying to think back to that game - possibly two points they're lucky to have.
-
I think if we get enough points the goal difference takes care of itself.
-
Said it before, he's an alien from a far flung galaxy brought here to make us the best side in the world - once it's done he'll disappear.
-
He's not played a lot and is another who has improved under Tonda. He is a good finisher as he showed tonight and caused Blackburn plenty of problems including a brilliant assist for Larin. He'll probably get more minutes in the run-in as the games come thick and fast and is a useful asset if he can keep this standard up.
