It's hard to be excited about this game. Everton are awful to watch, and Saints aren't much better. Best we can hope for is two crap teams throw caution to the wind and play out an epic 4-3. Not likely but we can hope.

The two teams I follow, Saints and England, are now replicas of each other. That's two Friday nights in a row I've watched the football and saw the same boring shite, no midfield, isolated striker, and a defence likely to make a mistake.

Lavia needs to come back soon. That midfield was nonexistent, you could see that everytime the CBs had the ball, they had to go back to the keeper. There was nothing in front of them. Awful, can't really find any positives apart from the young left back got on the pitch. Everything else was prettyich abject. JWPs form needs to be addressed, we know he can't be dropped but he can't turn in performances like that without fear of being dropped.

Awful No excuses for that.

Very poor. I had to double check that Diallo was playing, I genuinely don't recall him doing anything in that half. Elyounoussi has been awful, but at least I knew he was on the pitch. Big changes needed for the second half. There's nothing up front, Che needs someone to pass to him.
