  1. Umm. No, the centre put and kept them in power. Worcester Woman I can recall as a moniker used at the time. That's why Cameron targeted them and that's always who decides who is in power. I'm also quite sure that in Blair was up against Cameron he'd still win an election. His popularity is still very high despite everything.
  2. How quaintly parochial. So now your saying only those who have a "better standard of living" can have respect, kindness and responsibility.
  3. TBH, it's not much of a challenge at times. Your default position appears to be; left = bad & right = good. Most of us attempt to find a more thoughtful position which accepts both and good and bad elements in both left and right.
  4. Check out how they've been changed in the USA, the right wing utopia and then look at ours and see if you can work out which is worse.
  5. Has your wife hidden the tin foil?
  6. I'm sure that he doesn't understand authoritarian capitalism.
  7. Yeah, really, really hard. I'm so struggling with it.
  8. Yeah, right.
  9. Using a youtube video doesn't make your posting any less wrong. Quite simply you confuse capitalism with classic liberalism.
  10. How very strange. Are you suggesting that if you are left wing you should live in poverty?
  11. Ummm. No, it's not. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/capitalism An economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately or corporately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market.
  12. 1/2 of my team read the NOTW & Sun for the sport and they are all ABC1s Personally I think The Times sports coverage knocks the spots of them. However, Thorpe is correct, the language of both the NOTW and The Sun is that expected of a 10yo. The Star readership ability is 8yo
  13. So saying what a great job they are doing with meagre resources justifies hacking into the voicemail of those so recently bereaved? That is a totally and utterly pathetic position to take. Parents, wives, kin of the fallen should be protected come what may, they should not have their grief invaded just to sell newspapers. Simple, undeniable fact is that for a number of years they were our of control that the paper, as it is today, has been sacrificed to save Brooks and NI bid for Sky.
  14. You actually have more protection if you buy via an online portal. The DSRs give you 7 day "cooling off period" in which you can return things, including things such as furniture.
  15. I'm just as clueless regarding players in the NPC as I was about L1 hence my nipper doing it. He also knows the number 1 rule: NO SKATES.
  16. My nipper has entered. Son of VFTT. Don't let a 9yo beat you.
  17. At a guess I'd say the 72% price hike for the previously discounted prime seats.
  18. I think the majority feel that way but some seem instant on missing out despite still being able to get season tickets, albeit in The Chapel, for the princely sum of £16 per game. Ultimately they will be the ones that dip out and that's sad.
  19. Rubbish. There are more than enough clauses in the EU directive to make sure than politicians, of any shade, could have ensured it won the bid. We should play by the same dirty rules as the rest of Europe.
  20. Which is why the mainlanders give their home nations their orders and our dumb as f**k idiots, of all shades, don't.
  21. Nothing on the order book afterwards though.
  22. The problem is, IMHO, is that we play by the rules with tenders etc whilst the rest, rightly, don't. Another major slice of manufacturing thrown away but a government that has, apparently, avowed to re-balance the economy and put manufacturing at its heart.
  23. About ships that are being built in Scotland. Apparently we should be upset by that.
