They are told, and believe, that they are discriminated against because they are Muslim. They are told, and believe, that the West is out to destroy Islam.
-
I can assure you, that's a fact. I hear it week in and week out across the Black Country.
-
If you truly want the general public made aware of the danger these loons pose then let them spew forth their bile. What better way to unite the public against the extremists?
-
I've been saying that for years. One of the mosques I visit on a regular basis pointed out the local "Taliban" mosque but they fear reprisals against relatives back in Pakistan if they take action in the UK.
-
And you believe that not giving them a voice in public they will wither and die?
-
I know who it is and I've been aware of him and his odious views for years. However, in a democracy we have the right to free speech. By removing that you start on the path to a society that they want. Let them have their poxy march elsewhere and watch 100 or so no marks shout their slogans and wave their banners and let the rest of the world see what a total bunch of cun*s they are.
-
How is it different from allowing the Republican groups a voice during the troubles in Ulster?
-
Total bolloc*s. Like it all not this group is perfectly legal and entitled to their view, no matter how warped we all believe it. That's one of the "joys" of democracy and it tends to be lost on some that denying them their freedom of speech plays straight into their hands. By banning freedom of speech we take a step down the road that they want!

Saints. We get told it on a regular basis around the country. As a Leeds fan said to me at Ellend Rd, what the fook are Saints and Leeds doing in L1 when tinpot teams with no support like Wigan and pompey are in the EPL? Couldn't really argue with that.
-
The difference is you thick fook is that someone wanted to buy SFC and settle the debts as we had decent assets. You have none except EPL status and that will go with administration. You also need to come out of administration without a CVA or you get docked more points. Your club is nearly dead and I for one am loving it.
-
Exactly. It's not about the rights and wrongs of a war, it's about respect, grief and gratitude.
-
LOL. Good try. We're minted, you're fooked. Get used to it.
-
Let them have a march, just not there.
-
Like Union Hotel I consider them as 5th Columnists. However, giving them what they want, a full on confrontation, whilst appealing at a base level, gives them an easy victory.
-
As insightful as it maybe I believe they intend to incite.
-
You can hardly blame them. The ruling classes of that period had lost their son's in the trenches of Flanders and in many cases, the upcoming generation and served themselves and had seen the horrors 1st hand. With hindsight we know that challenging Hitler when he marched into the Rhineland would have been enough it is churlish to criticise them for trying to stop another war by "peaceful" methods.
-
Strange that you say that as I also thought that there will be an awful lot of ex-services who may have a pressing engagement in Wiltshire that day.
-
You mean, of course, the Islamic fascists, nye, Nazis, that are embodied by this group who have proposed the march.
-
I heard the Ward rumour from Cov' the week before last. Thought it improbable that a decent CCC player would take the drop down in division, but it looks like I may well be wrong.
-
Which is a point most miss. My gut reaction, in this instance, is to fight fire with fire but that is just what Choudry and his 100 strong gimp squad want.
-
Actually, that's not true. The law was changed to include Conference sides when Carlisle were relegated. Previous to that it was just the football league.
-
He has a point though. What's the point in holding democracy up as the beacon if we don't practice what we preach?
-
Yeah, and the height of the troubles the Orange Order, as a mark of outrage against IRA actions, marched down The Falls Rd.
-
It wouldn't just be far right groups, there would be an awful lot of ordinary people, especially ex-forces, that would go and oppose them. Have their march, have their say, but not there.
-
It won't happen, OB won't allow it. This rabble have gotten their publicity, which is what they crave. The irony being is freedom of speech gives them the right to call for a State where freedom of speech wouldn't exist.
