  1. What prick decided that 2 shades of red was a good idea? It makes it look like there's been a problem during manufacturing.

One again, what started out as a good idea has turned out to look piss poor in reality.

Just checked, and it appears the badge sat over the stripe on the original.

Not as I remember it, but it was nearly 50 years ago.

    Yeah, that looked shit too.

Look at the puma logo. You can only see part of it. The white logo vanishes against the white part of the shirt. Either move it so it sits in the red stripe or make it black so that it stands out against the red and white.

The stripe on the right goes down part way then vanishes. There's a double dark red stripe descending into the badge on the collar side. A collar that, as posted, does not fit the neck it's supposed to be attached to.

    Logo looks off colour too.

Here's hoping it's a design they do end up using though.

No it doesn't. You can see that the material is slightly creased because of the way he's sitting. If you look closely you can see that the stripe continues further down. It's just the angle and the way the shirt is sitting that makes it look like the stripe stops.

  4. What idiot decided that the saints badge and the Puma logo looked better bridging the red and white stripes rather then being set in the red stripe?

Once again the mock-up looks better than the real thing.

Have not been interested this season in the premier league. It is a snore fest. I tend to look abroad and the lower leagues for my teams. Oh and Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    NEC - Nijmegen 🇳🇱

    Hibs - 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Carlisle - north and where I live
Torquay - first team I ever watched live at a game in Torquay on a family holiday.

Royston Town - Where I used to live and where my wife and good friends live.

AFC Totten - Local small club near Southampton
Eastleigh - used to be Swaythling FC and where I grew up in the flower estate.

I'm the same. I can't stand the Premier League. The worst thing about The Championship is that the reward for doing well is promotion into the Prem. 😕

Feyenoord - My wife is Dutch and most of her family are Feyenoord supporters. A trip to De Kuip is always enjoyable.

Luton Town - I was born there and had a season ticket in the late 80's.

Chester - Lived there from '88 - '13 and had a season ticket in the mid-90's.

Hibs - Always felt that they were a bit like Saints. Not a top team but occasionally upset the big boys, which I like. I now have family in Edinburgh so go along when I'm visiting.

If I had to follow a Prem team it would be Newcastle, simply because I love the place.

  6. I've just read that Saints have agreed to sign Kaminski from Luton. I would have believed it had the report not said that Saints have offered a 4 year contract. He's 32 so I can't see that being true.

  7. I don't see why Bazunu can't do a job for us next season.

Realistically, Edwards, Wellington, Downes, Charles, Archer & Stewart should be about all that's left.
I'd love to keep Dibling, THB and Sugawara but they won't stay.

Stephens, Bednarek, Wood, Taylor, Manning, Aribo, Fraser, Sulemana can all go.

Is Edozie coming back? If so, he'll definitely do a job.

  8. QPR fans love him. He's had a great season for them. Looking forward to having him back at Saints next season and him continuing to improve.

I disagree, Nathan Jones will beat us, it's written in the stars

I think it's fairly safe bet that Saints won't pick up points from either fixture against Charlton next season. You can add two P*mpey fixtures to that and if Martin goes to Leicester then that's 6 points down the toilet too.
Will Still has got a massive job on his hands and I don't think he has the experience required. I genuinely hope he proves me wrong but I can see a bottom half finish next season.

  10. Not arsed about Rohl or with the obsession with trying to find the next genius young coach. If they're any good then they'll only get snapped up after a season or two. That would probably suit SR's business model of trying to make a huge profit from every appointment.

Let's just go for someone with a bit of experience who can do a job in the championship. Cooper or Dyche would be fairly safe bets.

If they want someone younger then I guess I'd go for Rosenior or Carsley but I doubt either would come.

Obviously, we're waiting until we are officially relegated and his current team Kidderminster, are finished with their playoffs to establish compensation. 🙂

Do try to keep up. Kidderminster lost their play-off semi final to Chester yesterday.

Talks about compensation have been talking place today. 😂

  12. Turned it off after 35 mins. Utter garbage. Never seen such a poor Saints team in all my life.

Whoever takes over as manager has got a massive task in hand. There's a completely new team needed. A fresh start from scratch or we're going the same way as Luton.

  13. I've just read that David Wagner is on the shortlist. This wouldn't surprise me at all. Another piss poor SR appointment.

Wagner took Norwich from being a top 6 Championship side to mid-table mediocrity. Have a look at what Norwich fans thought of him. He's not the answer for Saints so be prepared for his arrival. 😂

We were royally fucked over by Man City when we bought Edozie, Larios and Bazunu.  Waste of money.

Jason Wilcox should be investigated for that. I bet he had his pockets lined by somebody for those deals.

  15. I think he has the potential to be very good in the Championship, if managed correctly. From his perspective, he's come to a team where he thought he'd be one of the first names on the team sheet and that hasn't been the case. He hasn't helped himself but then he's had two awful managers that haven't really played the way that suits him. Chuck in a load of behind the scenes upheaval and it's not hard to see why he's unhappy. Pretty much every player in that squad has underperformed this season so he's not alone.

A settled manager could make all the difference.

And where does it get them? apart from leaving as sour atmosphere. I will never forget howbad it waas when I saw our own fans fighting amongst ourselves in the Northam in thelate days of Rupert. It made no difference butjust made a toxic atmosphere that helped none of us

I think it made a huge difference! Ultimately, it got him out and led to Markus taking over.
