There has never been another left back that has gone for that amount. There has never been another left back as comfortable in his position at 18 as Luke Shaw. He is English as well and highly coveted. He will almost certainly perform brilliantly for them and will be worth probably double that amount in a couple of years. We are it he prem now too and have no need to sell. We should be demanding more.
-
I'm sure you can find an 18 year old Englishman as comfortable in his position at that age from the last 20 years?
-
When I look at some of the dross that have gone for about that amount, I reckon we need more than 27. 35 at least for me.
-
Laughable price. We need a lot more.

Ralph Krueger's end of season interview

No idea. I have no experience of announcements to football players. I do think it was telling that they were both subbed off today though. -

I'm not bothered. I'm sure everyone is glad he has gone. -

Saints 1 Manchester Utd 1 - Post Match Reaction

My opinion is based on the non committal comments over the last few months, Lallana's performance at the awards, his comments in the match day programme, comments from certain trusted people on here and shed loads of newspaper comments. They are gone imo. -

Bye Adam and Luke  -
Knew he was a psychopath, I've had my run ins with some before and this is how they operate.

How has plenty of the country become islamified?
-
Indeed. The same could be said of you.
-
The reason people vote UKIP is because they have genuine concerns about uncontrolled immigration and the influence of the eu on our ability to govern our own country, not because they are all racists. Patronising people and saying they do not know what they are voting for isn't going to work and neither is slagging off UKIP and the people who vote for them.
-
I got to the bit where you called that berk the star of the show and stopped reading. He was another one who just doesn't get it and is one of the reasons that UKIP will do so well. Caroline summed it up well without patronising people who vote UKIP and put her point across effectively.
-
Caroline and Nigel were the two best tonight. Caroline actually addressed UKIP without chucking out words like racist or idiots and I have a lot more respect for her now even if I disagree with some of what she says. The tory was appalling and the labour bloke wasn't much better. The old woman was OK but a bit behind the times.

Happens everywhere but pretty impossible to prove.
-
How so?
-
How many Muslims living in Britain actually want to Islamify Britain? Every one I have met have never been overly bothered about things like that and just get on with living their lives in peace and doing normal things like everyone else. Obviously I haven't met them all to form the best opinion but my guess is that rather like fundamentalist Christians, they are a minority that give the rest a bad name.

I don't really understand you point. Do you really think people are incapable of realising that this thread is just a few comments from someone who has had a friendly chat and a meeting with the chairman? No one is saying things will be brilliant now and everyone I am sure realises as you do that actions speak louder than words. This sounds like an encouraging chat and we can hopefully look forward to a positive future. Even if Ralph does turn out to be full of rubbish, what harm has reporting this conversation done?
-
Is anyone really that bothered on here? I honestly couldn't give two ****s whether meat I eat is halal or not as long as it tastes good.

It's amusing that the relentlessly happy clapper cult of cortese types are the first group to pounce on this news with a negative spin and proof of Duncan's naivety. Why not just take it on face value as an interesting snippet and potentially positive information.
-
Or someone from the championship like Clyne and jayrod.
-
Thanks for that ff. Actions do speak louder than words but this is still encouraging. Ignore the patronising bilge from Frank, the majority are pleased that you post and interested in what you have to say.
