Personally I think it's hilarious that so many people are talking about hkw obvious it is that we needed a plan b or c or how clear it was that we messed up badly in the summer. How many people were actually saying this when the window closed and how many were wanking over the window, saying it was a ten our of ten window and how many were slagging off those who were disillusioned or who said what everyone is saying now in September? Not saying it was you Maggie may, just highlighting the point.

Think we've played well to be honest. Like normal we can't score but still something to build on for the second half.

We don't have much in the way of alternatives. I'd rather give Walcott a go who may do something than someone I know isn't up to it. Walcott will likely fail as well but I'm happy to give him a chance.

I am good friends with a TV producer who has been telling me for about 15 years that of everyone he has worked with, James Corden was the biggest bellend. Used to get people up against the wall in pubs and say things like "do you know who I am?" I'm glad to see some chickens coming home to roost.

Armstrong reminds me of me when I play football. I'm good at winning the ball and a good tackler, but once I have it I tend to panic and normally do something silly. He's just not good enough.

Today there were load of positive performances which would have been the case even if we had lost. What I ask from saints is that they give their all and leave it all out there and I can say they did that today regardless of the result. Excellent from the team and well done Lyanco especially.

I think had he lost today and arsenal we would have had no choice but to get rid as we'd have probably been bottom. Winning today means we can lose to Arsenal and still probably won't be in the relegation zone. Miraculously considering our stinking performances we seem to get just enough points at the right times.

I still want him to go although I'm so pleased we got the win. He really is a jammy manager, getting a win at exactly the right time.
