I've now listened to his show last night and it's obvious that is what he's doing. I do think that is his view to some extent but he's clearly exaggerated things to provoke responses. I'm not sure he's going to endear himself to fans with that tactic.
-
It wasn't enough. He wasn't the Broja replacement that was required and it was obvious at the time that it wasn't going to be enough. Subsequent events have proven that view correct.

I seem to remember you said it wasn't right to criticise the club for not bringing in a striker because we had brought in Mara...
-
I seem to remember Lowe getting absolute pelters when we got relegated from the championship. I had a season ticket that year and the atmosphere was toxic on a number of occasions. Forest away when we were already down was superb but that was gallows humour more than anything rather than a desire to support a failing club. I don't think much has changed, any supporters of any club would be having the same reaction given our results and more importantly our performances over the past year.
-
We were successful in league one. If we had loads of seasons in league one playing shit for the vast majority of the season, you can bet we would have the exact same reactions.
-
I agree. I was saying what a disaster it was that we hadn't strengthened the attack and got slated.

Nope. Saints fans demand maximum effort every game, the odd win against one of the bigger sides, a certain level of entertaining football and a mentality of trying to go and win games rather than not losing. Largely it is accepted that we will be selling a selection of our best players every year. The ridiculous run of average or terrible performances- particularly at home- over the last few years has mostly been met with muted responses with the odd grumble or two and nothing like you are describing. Saints fans are entitled to a bit of positivity and talk of ambition from those in charge, not just emphasising how lucky we are to make up the numbers. Brighton do not currently have that mentality and it shows. No reason we shouldn't be doing that too.

That's one to get singing in the ground.
-
Name any other club with our record from the last twenty games that wouldn't be unhappy? The club wants us to accept mediocrity.
-
I'm very concerned by the lack of ambition at the club lately. It seems we are quite content to try to survive relegation every season which will obviously run out eventually.
-
Think I laughed at someone recently for suggesting Blackmore was biased. Whoever that was I apologise, that piece for radio was absolutely terrible. I'm very disappointed with Adam as I thought he was more professional. Seems I was wrong.
-
That made me lol.
-
Hasn't gone yet so reasonable to assume he isn't going until next week. Pathetic from the club.

MLG is commenting on your post. He's trying to get you off the scent...

That's the one no idea why I thought he was Australian. It may not have been his debut for us but otherwise it fits the description perfectly because that was a cracker of a goal and then he did nothing else. I thought he would be mustard.
-
Who was that striker we had on lan in the championship? Think he light have been an Aussie. Scored a cracking curling goal and I thought he would be superb. Did absolutely nothing after that.
-
Sadly not. I genuinely have no idea when we are getting rid of Ralph as much as I'd like to!
-
Has anyone said Matthias Jaissle? Seems like exactly the type of guy we would go for.
-
Idiotic. No point waiting until after West ham and making the decision on a game by game basis.
-
Will he be out today? If not I'll begin to lose respect for Sports Republic. Being successful in sport means knowing when to be ruthless and decisive. Waiting until after West Ham is a waste.
-
Why wait and lose another game with less points for a new guy?
-
If he stays in place and then we sack him after West Ham, we will have wasted another game we could have got something from and my opinion of Sports Republic would have nosedived. There is a point where loyalty goes from being a strength to a serious weakness and we have reached that point now. Ralph is going to be leaving soon, it's just a question of when. It needs to be now.
-
This has been really embarrassing.
-
I know this is city and we were always going to lose but I do wonder what the purpose of this continuing is. I don't think anyone seriously believes we aren't going to sack Ralph. What are we wasting time for?

They were always secretly gay but now that society is more accepting they are able to come out in public and let their queer flag fly.
