  1. Nobody was prosecuted at Southport for speculating on the religion of the perpetrator. Of course the religion makes a difference if that's the motivation behind the attack.
  2. "looking at historical data it is overwhelmingly likely that the perpetrator of this Christmas Market attack is an Islamist nutter" is a completely non controversial statement. Making a reasonable prediction on a web forum before it's confirmed is completely fair. I'm also happy to say that the next person who rams their car into a Christmas market is also overwhelmingly likely to be an Islamist nutter too because these types of attacks are almost always committed by these types of people. Same thing if someone blows themselves up on a bus or on the tube. If we were in the 80s or early 90s I'd be saying that if I saw a bombing on UK streets it would probably be some nutter from the IRA. Sorry the truth upsets you.
  3. Let's be honest, even the people posting about how virtuous they were for not jumping to conclusions were thinking the same thing too they were just less honest about it.
  4. So when a group that makes up 6.5% of the population is responsible for a vastly disproportionate amount of terrorism offences and when almost every single other terrorist attack where Christmas markets have been targeted it's turned out to be an Islamic nutter (including possibly this one) - you aren't allowed to point out that this has very likely been perpetrated by an Islamic nutter before it's proven to be the case lest some fanny on a Web forum who goes around calling people pricks accuses you of prejudice? There's nothing prejudiced about it. Based on historical data it's by far the most likely outcome. So no I didn't lurch towards my target and missed, I pointed out the overwhelming likelihood that this attack was committed by an Islamist nutter and that's still the case even if it turns out it wasn't on this occasion (although evidence now suggesting he may well be anyway.)
  5. Indeed. Let's be the bigger people though and not act like @eggand @sadoldgitif it turns out he is an extremist Islamic nutter after all.
  6. Interesting. Not sure if it's true but it does seem odd to mow down people at a Christmas market otherwise.
  7. I'm often wrong. Just not about this. Hope that helps.
  8. The motivation behind this individual seems rather contradictory if you look at it (he appears to be supporting Hamas for example.) so I wouldn't say it's entirely clear cut at present.
  9. Behave. I pointed out the likelihood that it was an Islamic attack based upon the method of the attack which is still entirely accurate regardless of if it turns out to be something different or not.
  10. Frankly you're talking absolute bollocks. I would far rather this appaling crime had never happened. SOG gets grief because he's a hypocrite who downplays child sexual abuse and calls many people rape apologists, racist etc without evidence.
  11. It's very rare for someone to ram cars into a Christmas Market who isn't an extremist Islamic nutter (has an attack of this nature ever happened before where an Islamist isn't the culprit?). If true that it has nothing to do with Islam then that's very surprising but it would also be a real anomaly for attacks of this nature and I'd be interested to see his motives.
  12. Muslims make up 6.5% of the UK population yet are responsible for 67% of terror attacks in the UK since 2018. Have a think why someone might have a problem with that.
  13. Ramsdale Kwp ABK THB Perraud JWP Lavia Fernandes Stu A Dibling archer So probably fairly close between the two apart from the fact that cm was miles better last time.
  14. It is. Problem is extremist Islam is responsible for vastly more mass terror attacks than anything else.
  15. Defensive midfielder. Maybe the big Les replacement in January?
  16. I saw it too it was absolutely terrible. I despise these people and particularly the evil ideology that inspires them.
  17. I saw ten dead. Sadly it's that time of year and normally it's one ideology to blame.
  18. I'm in a box for this. The mighty saints to come roaring through for a 2-1 victory and I'll remember hardly any of it after all inclusive beer.
  19. A policeman friend of mine eventually left the force because he said that dealing with the same group of troublemakers changed his outlook on life, made him very cynical and distorted his view on what the average person was like because she had to deal with such misery and bad behaviour all the time. Being charitable to soggy (something he never is to anyone else) maybe his time at the CPS has caused him to have a distorted view of reality in the same way which is why he doesn't think that the vast majority of men aren't fans of rape.
  20. Even though you've replied you haven't explicitly condemned it so I'm concerned that you're at the very least rape neutral.
  21. Maybe most people don't want to respond because you're the one starting the thread rather than because they condone horrible acts of rape? It would seem to be a sensible thing to do to give threads you start a miss given that I recently put a sensible reply in your thread about reform and you just ignored it (despite having a go at other posters for ignoring you.) I'm not sure why you started this thread to be honest. No one has shown any hint of sympathy for people who have drugged and raped a defenceless woman. Why would they?
  22. So not found guilty then. Bit of a pointless thread.
  23. Yes I know of the practice a bit. Given that that's the exact thing Musk and Trump are trying to get rid of with the DOGE thing, you can see why they'd want it voted down.
