  1. IMO much worse. Thankfully I don't associate with either.
  2. Feminists are just the worst kind of people.
  3. Where we differ is what we consider Sexist. From that video you posted I would say only the lone idiot's comments I would consider unacceptable but we have gone through that.
  4. I know what you mean. Good for them!
  5. No idea. Perhaps the average football fan is more susceptible to Sexism in the media.
  6. Ffs sog how many times do I have to say it isn't a direct link, it plays a part in encouraging Sexism in society and therefore the Sexism on display at the football. I really don't think it's too difficult to get your head round. Feel free to move on now if you still don't understand.
  7. Surely the Sexism in football needs to be put in context and we need to discuss where it comes from? My view is that Sexist shows like take me out contribute to Sexism in society and are one reason why the tits chant occurs.
  8. Again, I didn't say it was the cause. Stop putting words in my mouth.
  9. It's entirely relevant to this thread. Either Sexism in all its forms is wrong or it isn't. I am just as offended by the message in take me out that objectification is something to be encouraged and celebrated as lou is by chants about tits.
  10. Of course there would be. It's double standards and whilst this particular show is not that important, it's a symptom of our society. It's not the only culprit.
  11. It objectifies men and women and contributes to a society where people are mostly judged on their gender and their looks. It isn't of course directly responsible but then I never said it was.
  12. Seems obvious to me. The chanting is at least partly inspired or viewed as acceptable by those doing the chanting because of the stereotyping of gender (women subservient to men and there for the pleasure of men etc.) take me out also stereotypes gender and contributes to a wider society where the truly offensive chanting is seen as acceptable.
  13. I think the point of take me out is that it objectifies men and women and perpetuates negative stereotypes in society in the same way it could be argued as some blokes at the football singing get youe tits out.
  14. So are you suggesting that the crowd reaction would have been different in that clip had the official been male? Because all I can see is people cheering because she fell over and the exact same thing happens to men at the football.
  15. Clyne was smashing it in parfait last night till 4 so he is literally back in Southampton with a bang. Had six girls on his arm telling them all his name was Nathaniel. .
  16. Eh? I haven't lapped anything up. When this lot came to power the country was utterly f*cked. In an appaling situation I think they have done pretty well. The lib dems have curbed the more militant Tory tendencies and our economy is performing as one of the best in Europe. Of course they have done some bad and some dumb things but every government does that.
  17. Bloody hell I agree with Andy!
  18. Does anyone really believe that a coalition of labour and snp will do a better job than the current coalition?
  19. That would be funny. Then which mainstream party would we vote for?
  20. Right but I hardly think that is a typical experience. Certainly not for any of the women I work with.
  21. I agree. Main difference there though is that Cameron has done a complete u-turn. Something like this should be enshrined in law by an independent body so no one can back out.
  22. I think it's hilarious you are defending Cameron on this. I mean I'm much more likely to vote Tory in this election than anyone else at the moment but even I think he is being ridiculous.
  23. Not really sure you speak for all females though. What you describe isn't anything like what the women I speak to go through. I just asked my fiancee and she doesn't feel disrespected by men all the time. I expect if I asked the women I employ they would say similar. As someone said earlier maybe it's just where you live?
  24. Yet you got all lairy earlier because you said we weren't showing any desire to want to empathise with your point of view? And in regards to your it's a football forum comment- it's a football crowd making comments about tits, what did you expect?
  25. Should have just got it over with early doors. Would have diffused the tension.
