Yep. I expected about three to leave this summer but we should have said to the other wantaways that they can go in January unary or next summer which means we could have handled departures a lot better. The way we have done it makes us appear clueless and weak.

I think we could have put up more of a fight and handled departures a lot better. From a pr perspective we have dreadful, starting from that difficult financial situation comment.

I think that's the key point and why many are rightly concerned. We are very likely to lose Morgan and lovren too IMO.

Losing five or six of our best players isn't the athletico or Everton model.

Eh? What logic is that? He hasn't signed the contract. It's clear we very publicly offered it to him to show we were trying to keep him in the midst of interest from elsewhere.

I agree. Not in anyone's worst predictions would they have imagined that would happen in may, no matter how people try to spin it.

We were quite prepared to offer him a five year contract despite him not being back from injury or fit.

It is reported that lovren is leaving tomorrow. We have an ever-shortening period to get replacements in and get them to gel. Both of our signings may be brilliant and I hope they are but they are currently unproven in the prem so to say they are better than what we have is ridiculous at the moment. Targett is the same and no idea how he will do yet. We need a lot of things to go for us as it stands just to be at a similar standard as last season.

Reported that lovren will be leaving. Jay rod has been linked away as has Morgan. Why would they stay when the others have all left? I expect they will go as well.

If we lose lovren and Morgan we will have lost our five best players.

Well we are a week closer to the season starting and still very weak with less time to gel and with lovren very likely to leave followed by Morgan.

We've had an absolutely appaling transfer window. Probably the worst in our history if you assume that Morgan and Lovren are off.

God this is depressing. 6 maybe 7 first team players to leave that has never happened in he prem before.

We are a bit of a crisis club though to be fair. We could potentially lose 7 players this summer and are going to find it difficult to replace them all.

We were reading about pelle weeks before Koeman signed? That's not my recollection.

We have been linked with lesser players this week. I wonder if we have had to move to our second choices?
