I posted a while ago that it was the time for our new signings/management to start taking effect. Around that time we started a good run, which was posted on. The run continues. Most here are enjoying that run and appreciate the improvement on the first 12 games or so. 11 games is hardly a crafty choice of games. Its a very large number to give indication of form - 6 is often used. It does not miss any games out. It is current. And ties in with the timings I have just mentioned. Some are hearing voices, imagining arguments and getting personal. I suggest you ignore this thread or calmly start reading it again - ignoring your thoughts on anyone posting and just read whats written

this thread seems to have turned into an arguement between people thinking the playoffs are unlikely and those thinking the play offs are unlikely! The OP doesn't say we are cruising to the play offs ffs - it says we are on a good run!

who's counting their chickens? This thread was looking back and enjoying facts. I don't think we will get promoted which is what we are after but Pardew has engineered a huge improvement in performance and its worth enjoying.

if we moan all season, and finish mid table we wont have had much fun with our hobby. if we enjoy the football, look up and hope - whilst there is still some chance - that we make play offs, and finish mid table, we maybe disappointed at the end - but would have had a great year enjoying saints. if anyone thinks that fans celebrating on here can make the manager or players complacent, they are thick.

Think you need to take a step back, read the posts and not get personal.

I was thinking just that when received a pm last night from Pardew saying having read this thread he is going to relax now:confused:# Really wish I hadn't made the team complacent by posting this, I naively thought it was just for fans to enjoy the good times - but no the player/manager now mistakenly think the work is done. Sorry.

its pretty quick with cut and paste and adding 6 words! How can a list of results be one sided? I have never said it is all rosy but if you can't enjoy this sort of run I suggest you get a new hobby? Think we should agree to disagree as we clearly have different views/approaches/personalities or whatever. As I said I will, and many others seem to, keep enjoying this good run while it lasts. There are numerous threads to moan/slag of players/constructively criticise etc so if you don't like these....

...PNE were allowing Trottman to play in the cup (although he is now suspended) after their talk of how he is certain to return and big part of their plans, does this now suggest discussions have moved on and he is staying?

you seem to have a very high view of the power of my posts! I can ensure you my enjoying the best run for years has no impact on the team. If you read carefully you will see that nearly every time I mention the good run I say I cannot see this lasting. If you don't enjoy these posts -and they will continue as long as the good form does! Ignore them and get over it - you are starting to sound personal and obsessed!
