hopefully this explains why I felt the editor, even if the ban is wrong, came across as bitter and pompous. It does not explain why FF feels the need to insult posters on here, call Cortese a spoilt prima donna and pompous ass. Nor does it explain why FF feels the need to "keep wiping" Murray's "ass".

for those who have not seen the full article here are comments that I refered to earlier. To clarify where my "pompous" came from - as it seems to be justification for calling Cortesse pompous it was based on reading the full page article in the echo. I appreciate some are out of the area who won't be able to read full article, but if I still have it I will add some quotes to justify why I thought the editor came across as pompous, but it was a tone that ran through out the article and culminated in bitter comparisons of Cortesse to Lowe.

first half we pretty poor- mainly due to a ref who lost control. It is important to play good football as well. But we have not - not sure who said it - just been grinding out results - to me that suggests scrappy one nils etc. We have score lots of quality goals.

In interview yesterday Pardew said that he is still only keeping an eye on play offs just wants to climb the table. However, he did say that if, at the end of January, we are within 7 points of play offs we would have a good chance of making play offs. Realistic targets for progress?

should be remembered that in the full page article -written by the editor - he stated the club were not happy and wanted the prevent further contact between club and echo until Cortesse had a meeting with them to discuss it. I find it very strange that saints fans (or fan) are taking issue and calling Cortesse pompous without knowing what happened, and I suspect without bothering to read the article. He maybe (and to be honest if he keeps running club as he is I don't mind if he is) pompous but I have seen nothing apart from the rantings of Murrey to suggest he is.

I don't care about a petty row between Cortesse and Murry over the release of details of the training ground - particularly when we are not in position to judge. I did read the full article in the echo (did you?) where echo said they wanted a meeting before further dealings with saints and Murry made several references to Lowe, including something like Merry Christmas Lowe. I cannot understand Cortesse's problem about the release of this - it is sounds petty and lacking in logic. The have not denied, nor can they saints reporting rights. I doubt if you did read the article as I think your pompuos arse comment would have been directed elsewhere. Wiping his arse? Grow up, you know nothing of what has happened. Think his is open to criticism from what echo have reported - but if you had read the article they conceded that he requested a meeting.
