I don't get it, thought they sold out every game and would get 30,000 if their stadium allowed but just looked on their OS preseason game this Saturday against Rangers - one end sold to Rangers, but the rest still available, general sale - 6 tickets per caller Their premier league games - tickets still available, general sale - 6 tickets per caller Are they just waiting for the new stadium to fill?

if we win At the start of the league season proper, i.e. 3pm on the first Saturday, we would only have a 7 point deficit (and better goal difference) than every club. Looking ahead to a long season, that suddenly wouldn't appear so daunting as we try to attract other players. (I know it will only be short lived!)

The owner has spent £16m to buy the club. He has cleared the debt. He has afforded a manager we couldn't have done last year. He has allowed us to turn down bids for younger players that we couldn't before. He offered KD a contract on his first day. He is affording Saga and Rasiak - we couldn't last season. He offered John a competitive contract -we couldn't last year. He has said that he realises year on year investment is needed to return the club. Pardew has said new signings likely this week.
