As I'm looking forwad to a nice relaxing bank holiday weekend I thought I'd set the theme with Wheat; Hope and Adams on the iPod while making me sarnies.

Good film too....

Cheers Hamster, I just told the police but going to CC is a good shout. The cash value isn't the issue, to be honest anybody that gave the tw*t £20 for it would be a mug, but it was a useful 'old reliable' for getting about. No useful photos I'm afraid, they're all full frontal, if you understand me....

Pffff, it's over 10 years old!!!! What would the scrap value be?

3 points and £60 quid. If you'd have been doing 66 it would have been different; 4-6 points, heavier fine and possible 7 days disqualification. Rule of thumb, if it was definitely you, take the wrap. Don't contest it in court otherwise the fine will be based on earnings. The minimum fine you'll get is £117 based on a salary of £350 per week, plus costs, plus £15 victims surcharge. Another rule of thumb, just don't speed.

I've had a hardtail MTB nicked. It's a red and black Giant Boulder, 19.5" blokes frame. Nicked from Millbrook, so probably around there or Shirley. If you see it, chances are it's mine. Don't see many of these about tbh. Cheers.

We were waiting to get a Sony Bravia but they were never in stock. We ended up getting a Samsung 42" 8 Series from Novatech. It's got a slightly better spec. than the Bravia and cheaper. With HD it is the dogs. It's 100Hz, or 100 frames per second so there's virtually no motion blur which is great for footy or other sport. Dynamic contrast ratio is 70000:1, the Sony was 50000:1 so the dark/light contrast is marginally better with the Samsung (depending on how it was tested I suppose....) Anyway, we're happy with it and we spent quite a bit of time researching which one to get.

Went to see Let The Right One In last night at Harbour Lights. I personally thought it was fab. A really warm, touching and sensitive fairytale of a horror film. The usual caution of 'Be careful what you wish for' doesn't follow in this film where poor 12 year old bullied Oskar wishes for a friend to help him out. His wish is granted but not quite how he expects. Ebbs and flows gently along with the occasional bit of gore thrown in. Don't expect slash/horror, that's not what it's about, but it's difficult to say too much without giving the game away.

Film is absolute pants compared to the book. Except Holly Hunter isn't in the book....

But think of the pie sales if you get >30k in!!!! Greater footfall means greater merchandise/other sales.

....and breathe..... I'm sure everything will be fine mate. Our league position wasn't a definite known until the FL, in their infinite wisdom, imposed the 10 point deduction. Now we know where we are, pricing the club is more straightforward. I'm convinced that there is money out there that realises what a potential gold mine this club could be with its pre-exsting infrastructure and fan base. If anything relegation makes it more attractive 'cos it'll be cheaper. Give it a month, we'll have cleared out all the suckers by then. Keep the faith...
