Was at Fratton Park today for my sins (my daughter was in a competition for Linvoy Primus' Faith and Football Charity)... anyway, I bumped into a mate down there who is now working (for free) for new-PFC. Apparently, everything they do there is whiter than white now. The new staff still can't quite believe what went on in the past.

Cheers. England thing is a bugbear but with the idiot Hodgson in charge, no one from a mid table club will get a look in. It's always been that way int he last 20 years but the disappointment is that I though Hodgson would be different as in the main, he's spent his career in mid table. I think he could be on par with McClaren as far as crap England manager's are concerned. Will do... am still mystified as to why you give a 36 year old reserve keeper a new contract... Constructive criticism - like it! Where's the 'block' button! Ha ha. Yep, some games are so uninspiring that it's the silk purse out of a sow's ear argument. I remember reading through the Swansea away 0-0 after I'd finished and thinking it wasn't great. There was bugger all in that game aside from a disallowed goal. Maybe I should make the boring games shorter... all reports seem to come out the same length.

There were games in the season, especially at the start when Cork was injured where Deano could have done a job but now he'd just be blocking the path for players like Ward-Prowse and Chambers and we want the youngsters to come through. We'd have got more out of Billy Sharp than Mayuka though who looks ******** to me.

If Sky in Italy is anything like Sky in the UK, then this is probably made up. I strongly believe we should keep him another year at least - full pre-season and all that.

Lukaku was superb but he did miss about 3 1v1s with Artur before he finally scored. Van Persie for me as he won the game virtually on his own. Danny Rose was good and didn't give Punch a sniff.

So thats two out of their 3 points penalties that have been meaningless due to already being relegated, one from the Prem and one from this year.

Personally, I feel that the loan system is **** and totally distorts the competition. Should be tightened up... maybe only 2 per club at any one time and only players who are under 21. Would encourage clubs to think before they get themselves massive squads and would make reserve leagues more competitive.

As a striker in the Prem you need to be able to play up front on your own otherwise you'll always be a bit part player. He proved on Sat that he isn't capable of playing up on his own. Would rather have Billy Sharp back to be honest.
