Post-Match Reaction: Chelsea 1-1 SAINTS
Halo Stickman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Very happy with that. Whole defence excellent. Mane, Wanyama and Morgan very good. Tadic had his best game for a while imo Matic could easily have been sent off. -
Good luck with that, Goat! I was faced with a similar situation for the Saints v Man City game. Drove home for 3 hours avoiding all radio etc and even though I was breaking my neck for a p!ss, I refused to stop in case someone had a radio on in the service station. Got home, managed to get in the door without seeing the neighbours, hit the fast forward button on sky plus to skip pre-match ramble, but, keeping my finger on the button too long, the bloody thing skipped to the end of the recording and locked on to a freeze frame of Lampard and Clichy being interviewed post-match. Had to watch the entire damn recording knowing that I'd almost certainly seen the motm or at least one of the goal-scorers being interviewed.

So we're looking for a bro with stamina and a very large … vocabulary.
-
Whilst there can be no doubting your earnest – indeed, gallant – intentions regarding this matter, as one bro to another, I urge you to consider … the age gap. You are a young bro in the prime of life; whereas, Lou, on the other hand, has hinted, on more than one occasion, that she isn't exactly – putting this as delicately as possible – a spring chicken. Therefore, wouldn't the onerous task of banging Lou, and then writing about it, be better left to an older bro?
-
Actually, PompeyLass, I can't stand the jumped-up little gob-****e! Only joking, KRG x
-
There you are, PompeyLass, man on man action needn't be gross, after all
-
Cheers mate, you have a good one too.

Normal beer or three Friday night. Supporting Mrs Stickman at one of her work events tomorrow morning. Gillette Soccer Saturday etc in afternoon. Then Sunday will revolve around the Chelsea game. Be a lot of fun if we win!
-
It's Friday afternoon, chill-out in TMS for the rest of the day, KRG; although watch out for those grammar wardens - they're very restless atm!
-
I hope you're not trying to blow smoke up our backsides, KRG
-
Yeah, Grammar Warden Bletch has already issued me a ticket for my 'auto-ego' this week.
-
Oh yeah, sorry Bob, I know that is a pet hate of you'res
-
Well now Bob, I've consulted the urban dictionary and looked up various lists of acronyms and I'm still none the wiser – dare I ask what the hell you're on about?
-
Especially if it got less views than the Top 5 Crisps thread
-
I'm assuming your after a cheap skiing holiday?
-
Lou will weep, and so will I You should enter that on the American Gun-Law Thread - see what One_Sarnia_ Short_ Of_ A_ Picnic_ Saint makes of it
-
Have you got any jobs going for translators - I'm fluent in asterisks in several languages.
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one who falls prey to sinister undertones with thinking about Philip Schofield
-
Actually, faraway, when I was googling for that, I noticed that there's more than one woman with a taste for bear-slaying.
-
Smiles all round, and is it any wonder? Plaits, camo gear and a crossbow – what a way to go
-
Yes, I must admit my eyebrows were raised when I saw Bucks had been to your house, Lou - I think we need to explore this further ... nudge, nudge, wink, wink
-
Surely being a Portsmouth supporter has taught you that there's no reason why Fri 13th should be anymore dreadful than any other bloody day, PompeyLass?

An ex-work colleague – one of the nicest-natured blokes I've ever met – was a victim of domestic abuse. He was hospitalised for a week with a damaged kidney following one attack – told people he'd fallen against a water pipe. Yet, despite everything, he thought the world of his wife, so, apart from an emotional moment one day after a few drinks with me and another couple of mates down the pub, kept the whole sorry business to himself.

I'm tempted to say I can't wait for an opportunity to use that new word you've just introduced to me, Tim ... but, thinking about it, perhaps not.
