  2. Portsmouth Supporters' Trust (PST) would like to settle their dispute with Balram Chainrai's Portpin group over the control of Fratton Park out of court. The PST need to secure control of the ground to complete their takeover of the club. However, with the court hearing due next week, there has been no contact between the two teams of lawyers and this does not bode well in terms of an out-of-court settlement. The PST has budgeted for the court case, but a two day hearing in the High Court is necessarily going to be expensive.

  17. Hearts have been issued with a winding-up order by the Court of Session in Edinburgh after failing to pay a tax bill on time. The matter is unrelated to a £1.75m tax bill Hearts are currently contesting. This latest order is understood to be for unpaid PAYE and VAT and BBC Scotland has learned the sum due is a substantial six-figure amount. The Tynecastle club have eight days to pay up or the winding up order will be enforced by the court. Meanwhile, it is understood Hearts are unlikely to face any immediate sanctions from the Scottish Premier League over the non-payment of tax. The only sanction for not paying HM Revenue Customs on time is a registration embargo and the club already have this sanction in place for the late payment of salaries to players. The SPL have been informed and could take further action if payment is not paid within the eight-day deadline. Pompey deffinately get away with it, they dont muck about in scotland,
  18. I am waiting for what info Phil has, need some excitement as its all gone quiet.
  19. ..The Sunday Mirror looked at accounts recently published by Companies House which lists the finances of two of Redknapp's property companies. One of his companies, Pierfront Development, has debts amounting to nearly £2.6m while its parent company, Redsouth Limited, owes just under £3m. Pierfront is a building development company that was expected to make £4m in profit by building 92 apartments plus retail space for Tesco in Southsea, Hampshire, but due to the recession the apartments were never built, while an adjourning building that was also owned by the company was lost in a fire. The Mirror goes on to reveal that: "Harry owns Pierfront via Redsouth Limited, a company which he owns jointly with wife Sandra. Latest accounts for Redsouth disclose liabilities of nearly £3 million at November 30, 2011." Talks are now believed to be underway for the sale of the Southsea property. Redknapp is believed to have put his home in Sandbanks up as security when originally investing. Redknapp has been out of work since being sacked as Tottenham manager this summer after failing to agree terms on a new contract. Last January he was found not guilty of tax evasion. Jurors accepted Redknapp's angry denials that he avoided tax on any payments over £189,000 found in a Monaco account. ... Poor old Harry,
