Simon Eastwood has made a shock 11th hour U-turn and snubbed the chance to remain at Pompey. The keeper had long been expected at Fratton Park yesterday to pen an agreed three-year deal after impressing in his maiden Blues season. However, he informed the club late on Monday night of a sudden change of heart and revealed he would instead be signing for Blackburn. Guy Whittingham had earmarked Eastwood to be his number one in League Two next season after establishing himself this year.

I reckon PKF / PST / PDT will go to court on valuation day and say look the land is worh X because it is contaminated and will cost over a million to clear it and you can only build between 40 and 80 homes on it, if there is no footbal team playing on, so by giving Chinny 3 million we are giving more than it is worth, then chinny's team will turn round and show them Pompey's old plans for the ground saying look this is what you can build on it if the football team has gone, so we would value it a Y, Now how can a judge argue with that when its one of the original owners who came up with such plans for Fratton park. I wouldnt be surprised if Chinny has something else up his sleeve apart from the Harris offer for Fratton,
