We could certainly do with him and Osvaldo on the bench at the moment. We have nothing on the bench at the mo in terms of gamechangers, Foolish decision to let petty squabbles get in the way of business.

And Reed is 19 nearly 20. So when is it going to be ideal? Koeman doesn't seem to trust the youngsters. Reed wouldn't have been out of place today, and lets face it, he couldn't have played any worse than most of the team did today.

Why is it too much of a gamble? I don't understand why we have a midfielder on the bench, and then when a midfielder gets injured, we don't use the midfielder. I like Reed and think he would have done alright out there. At least he shows a bit of passion and willingness, unlike many of the other pretenders in red and white today.

Exactly what I said in the match thread. We could have left our defence as it was, and brought on Reed to replace Schneiderlin a like for like midfield replacement. If Koeman isn't going to pick Reed, then its pointless putting him on the bench. We were undone today because our passing was terrible. I lost count of the times we gifted City the ball due to poor choices, and poor movement. We showed them far too much respect, and from the kick off it was clear we never had the belief that we were going to win. Very disappointing.

Reed or Gardos ? Reed is a natural midfielder is he not? and Gardos can play there as we were told when he signed. Not rocket science. Replace like for like.

This is frustrating. When we do get the ball in promising positions, we panic and promptly lose it again. We have been lacking belief since the kick off.
