BBC saying Southampton have not yet accepted Liverpool's offer for Lambert, but talks are continuing and if Saints receive an offer they deem acceptable they will not stand in his way. I'm guessing 4 million is not acceptable I still struggle to see where he would fit in at Liverpool apart from warming the subs bench.

So How would we feel if we lost Lambert but kept Luke and Adam?

Quite clearly if it was some dodgy deal to get past the sell on fee we'd sell them Jonathan Forte for 30 million and Adam for a quid........

This is a good point bids don't automatically mean sales I mean no one thought we were going to get through the summer with no bids for our players did they?

Mind you maybe the club don't rate rickie as much as the fans? After all the rumours were that NC was close to aggreing a deal for Lambert to WHU in January which only stalled because NC left.

It's the new plan we all enjoyed the last one so much. The new plan is to go back to league one and start again (PL in five years) cheaper and easier than achieving CL football.

God you want them to confirm or deny every rumour this summer what difference will that make? If the club actually sell Lambert I'm sure they will let us know.
