This really. I'll be a bit gutted if some of the players leave less bothered about Poch really. Maybe I just have different reasons for supporting saints, to some posters on here, but I really couldn't care less about the CL or pushing on. All the really matters is that the club is around so that 3.00 on a Saturday I can support a saints team weather they're playing Man Utd or MK dons I don't really care. I think we've come so far so fast in the last five years that some peoples expectations of saints have gone way over the top the truth is the journey back to the PL was always going to be more fun than the destination. I'm getting more wound up by all the feet stamping and hand wringing on here than by anything the club is doing.

They're still a much bigger club than us I have no problem with that or with Mopo leaving. I'm more annoyed that it seems Mopo has been planning this move for a while all the time stringing saints along just in case he needed a fall back plan.

I actually think Nigel had turned it around when he was sacked and would have kept us up. After that who knows but MP has had access to better players this season and I see no reason Nigel couldn't have got decent results with the same players if he was still here.
