Given Brown's comments on the strike, I hope a number of trade unions, including my own, remove their funding from Labour.
-
Me too, but as that isn't a choice...

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1994481,00.html On a personal level I've voted for 'One Vision', as it reminds me of my childhood in the Junior Saints section at The Dell and having to try and guess what the PA announcer was saying as half the time the sound cut out!

In Essex, schools break up on April 1st...just so you know where I'm getting my info from.

What's his religion got to do with it?!

BA are offering their passengers full refunds as it is, so it's not going to cost them anymore (probably) to fly with someone else.

While I agree with almost all of what he has written... ...it always annoys me when we're described as having 'ideas above our station', it smacks of arrogance that a journalist disregards 30 odd years of consistant top flight football and and a desire to get 'back there' as having unrealistic expectations.

I think anyone who thinks the police will hand out prison sentences is having a "laaarf!" The most that lot will get will be a fine and a banning order.

Strike dates are in this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8563728.stm

I agree it's ridiculous that they're being taken to court over such a small amount, but being in the forces doesn't put them above law and if people brought charges against them...
-
No technically, the clocks change at 2am, but most sensible people just put them forward an hour before they go to bed.

I'd rather just stick £20 in a bucket and be done with it if I'm honest then be a 'charidee hero'.

Yeah this the same! Like SRS has said, ANYONE with a brain cell would have realised that letting Saints and Pompey fans out at the same time was going to cause 'aggro'. There may have been some in both parties who were intent on causing trouble regardless of the policing situation, but the fact that the coppers let both sets of fans out at the same screams incompetence on their part. As I have already said, personally, I feel that they are trying to cover up for their own mistakes.
-
Agree 100%, but having your house robbed isn't as high profile as a bit of football handbags, the coppers need to be seen to be doing something, even though they're fully incompetent.
-
Oh how witty dune. This thread doesn't need your moronic opinions, kindly go back to the zoo.
-
...well, when you can't do your job properly....
-
I guess then that they've had dealings with the cops in the past...silly boys.
-
Where did you get 30 from SRS? There are only ten in the picture...or am I being naive? I can't believe plod! "Let's cover up our own ****ing mistakes and poor policing on the day" - If they had kept the skates in for 20 mins after the game, there would have been NO PROBLEM! Hants Constab = morons.

If the mine shafts were fuly supported, miners worse protection on their faces to prevent them from getting 'black lung' etc, regular safety checks were carried out so that the conditions that causes that gas (the name escapes me) was not created; I'm sure if the government wanted to push the re-opening of the mines through, they would.

I'm still ****ed off that Chester were wound up for owing £27,000 compared to Portsmuff's mountain of debt!
-
...we certainly could... Remind me who shut those down again? ;-)

Judge (By the way, I think this thread has killed off all other posting in TMS...)

HAHAHAHA!! How the hell does it even come close to 'sounding very much like'?!? Jesus you're dumb! Hold on, you're intending to vote BNP? Why am I not suprised?! Dumb and BNP go hand in hand. This is my last reply to you dune, you're going on ignore! I refuse to be drawn into a 'debate' (although with you it feels like I'm having to give you a lesson) with a vile racist.
-
He still won't agree!
-
Nope, it's because you're an uneducated ****wit. UAF does not side with or march with Islamic 'extremeists' - that is merely propaganda peddled by the right wing press/BNP. UAF is there to facism, not support terrorism. Back to where the actual debate is: It would certainly be interesting if there is a hung parliament, going to the polls twice would sort the weak policies from the strong IMO.
