There's a lovely BIG crane in the centre of Basel here, a wonderous sight to behold. Was out and about in the Black Forest and Alsace and had many examples to add to my photo collection. Might give up collecting beer labels and convert to pictures of cranes. ;0) Mancsaint

If you're looking for a good beer I can suggest Feldschlossen. Unbeleivably, the Swiss do not eat Swiss roll and don't even know what it is. COYR. Hopp Schwiez. Here in Basel I prefer Wartek or Unser Bier and yes you can buy Swiss rolls in either Migros or Coop. Wore my colours around yesterday in town and across the border in Germany. Almost certain the badge will be revamped and relaunched a la Arsenal, Chelsea and QPR so that the new owner can get the rights to it. Anyone who wants to produce saleable items bearing the badge would have to pay for the privilege.
