Well British North America at the time (over 200 years ago since the War of 1812) was called Upper Canada (roughly todays Ontario) and Lower Canada ( Quebec and the Maritimes)..........only trappers had been further west. I don't understand what point you are trying to make............ But back to the thread .............which was about what is wrong with America (btw America is just a lazy brit reference to the USA I live in America!!!) ............me I am so pleased I live here than back in the uk....far more problems there than here.........
