  1. They are some ****s on here who will be eating large slices of humble pie when it happens!
  2. Its happening!!
  3. I've already told you my opinion. If he's waving his gun in peoples faces then he's fair game to be whacked around the head and taken out. I agree that he only has himself to blame for being in that situation, but if someone has intentionally suffocated him whilst he was on the floor I'd say that wasn't acceptable and someone should face charges.
  4. Why on earth would I be happy for people to run around waving guns? It would be nice to live in your world, every things so simple. Bad guy kill him. How far do you go? People with knives? Baseball bats?ll
  5. What on earth are you talking about? Who said anything about doing nothing? Do you want me to make it easier for you? Until you know the facts, you can't say what he did or didn't deserve. Unless of course, you are into knee jerk reactions or you think that justice is something for the man in the street to hand out.
  6. It's happening!!!!
  7. That's probably true, but we don't actually know the facts do we?
  8. Who are "you lot"? I don't represent any one. Fair enough if the guy is waving his gun around in people's faces and someone wraps a metal bar round his head. I get that, no problem. We don't know what happened though. How would you feel if he had given up his gun, and three people jumped him and beat him to death? There must be a point at which justice takes over from self defence.
  9. Isn't that the point though? We're trying to work out what he deserves aren't we? Given that there are very few facts about it it's difficult to say what he deserves. What if he'd tried to surrender himself, given up the gun, but mob rule took over and they beat him to death? Did he get what he deserves in those circumstances?
  10. I would expect him not to say anything negative about the Chairman, that's obvious. My point was that it's not for "no reason", there was a reason, he was being interviewed. He was being interviewed by a Uni student, not the Official website or for the matchday program. Most of his comments are reasonably neutral - good businessman, tough, made some good decisions etc. The only time he really praises him is when he talks about his injury when he had personal dealings with him. This isn't some massive PR machine that's at work here.
  11. Its hardly no reason though is it? He's being interviewed by a uni student. Don't you think he might have been asked about it? Its not like he stood up in the middle of MacDonalds and started shouting it is it?
  12. What do you think about the plans? Do you think we will achieve it? I think you've hit the nail on the head with your comment "firing a decent English manager". The English isn't important, but the "decent" is. If you are willing to settle for survival, you don't sack decent managers. IF you want to move on to the "next level" you fire decent managers and get in a better one. Only time will tell if Pochettino is better than Adkins but you couldn't argue that Adkins was decent and I don't think NC has replaced him with what he thinks is a worse option.
  13. Just, wow........because.....? Just, wow........good? Just, wow........I don't agree so I'll post a meaningless comment...? Just, wow........it could never happen.... ?? You've got to do better than that.
  14. I don't think that there's one particular thing that has convinced me. Up until recent events, I've always had a belief that there was a plan, but everyone has a plan. But not everyone gets linked with £10m defenders, or Brazilian Internationals - well we certainly never have before. The way the the manager was changed was ruthless, but it was also, in a way, impressive. The sort of action that would be taken by someone who knows what he wants. The new guy is a step up in terms of "clout" for want of a better word. He appears to be in the Cortese mould, believes in what we have going on and wants to be part of it. I wouldn't be surprised if he got us into the top half competing for Euro places and then got the sack for a better, more high profile manager to come in. There's one consistent since the takeover, whenever someone has come in, they always mention that the club has a vision and that they want to be part of it. Now you could dismiss that as media hype or club PR, but everyone says it. It's not the fans are great, or I love the city or the manager, it's always the vision that the club has. I know it was dismissed by a lot of people, but the DVD that contained the images of a developed stadium wasn't done for fun. It would have been part of some preliminary study on the feasibility of expansion, presumably with other options being looked at including a new stadium. It's all these things. But as much as that, the first half against Everton was very impressive. It showed that we have the nucleus of a very good team, a young team with some excellent players. New players will come in, and they will be better than what we have. We are going to be comfortable in the league and we are going to get better. COYS.
  15. I really believe that things have changed, I have thought it for while, but now I really believe it. We are going places people, enjoy the ride! Top 6 finishes and a bigger stadium. Competing with the big boys on transfers. It's all coming our way. Can't wait.
  16. I expect that somewhere, a manager will be sacked because of results or falling out with the Chairman or something and our Nige will get a job and he'll do well. Then a different manager will be out of work and we can all feel a little bit better about the whole situation.
  17. Some people were praising Adkins, some can see the justification for the new appointment. You seem to think its the "forums" opinion rather than a group of individuals and are so intent on being proved correct that you come across as a bit of a bit of a **** in my opinion. Just out of interest, will you be using your season ticket for the rest of the season? If not pm me, OK?
  18. You love this forum because people have opinions? Makes sense I guess. This is getting out of hand. For anyone throwing their season ticket out of their pram, let me know.
  19. Loved Neil Atkins, saints legend, no doubt. Have Saints been excellent this year - not really. I think we would have stayed up with NA but that doesn't seem to be good enough. For me, that's exciting. The level of players that we have been linked to, the money that is being spent all suggest that all the talk of us competing at the top end of the Premier League hasn't been throwaway comments. I'm starting to believe that's where we are heading. Love Mauricio Pochettino, sounds like a great addition to the Saints. Love teams with energy, pressing, passing out from the back. Onwards and upwards. Of course, good luck Nige ;-)
  20. I think that some pretend docks and some chain pubs/restaurants/shops would be good. Somewhere with a bit of atmosphere on matchday.
  21. Could you add Turkish to the list too?
  22. lol, us as in Saints fans. I'm not denying or confirming whether I have been touched. I wont speak for hypo.
  23. Thanks for keeping us updated. The name I found would be quite relevant for us. ;-) ......
  24. It wasn't a compliment I'm afraid.
  25. Wow, you really are a **** aren't you?
