The money for 4 tickets has come out of my account! Can't do the on-line stuff, though.
-
Don't go to pubs ... Steve Grant is having a big **** up for everyone at his place beforehand. PM me for address.
He is also providing bacon sarnies.
-
In before the lock.
-
Excellent news that he has been sold. He will quickly be forgotten.

By the time I've had 8 pints I doubt it will have much effect, to be honest.
-
Apparently he is in the final thing.

Are there massive queues down there, does anyone know?
Why would there be? ST holders have a whole week to get their seats. Doubt there will be a rush.

It's horrific, I don't want to know bad things about saints, I love them at the moment, I've got to stop reading that sh*t.
Booo.
-
Just watched the highlights on-line. Forgot how many chances we had in 1st half. Perhaps we weren't so bad after all?!!
-
See, I've inadvertently solved the 'getting served beer quicker, which tastes like p!ss anyway' problem as well.
Fair point.
-
It's simple.
Increase capacity to 45,000 and put the away supporters in one of the new upper tier bits above the current Northam.
What, so they can p!ss on us?! No chance!
-
Scudamore, you have let everyone down.
-
Why ever not? Surely it's just bricks and mortar... and a few heavy duty metal doors...
The concourse down that corner is totally different. The steps up to 39/38/37 are all in one corner. There are no catering facilities in that corner (and possibly no toilets). So the WHOLE 6 blocks would have to be given to away fans every time, even if they brought 212 fans. Total lunacy.
-
The Northam/Kingsland concourse isn't suitable and can't be divided. Simples.
-
I would guess that the Chapel/Kingsland corner is also viable due to its separate concourse, which isn't the case in other parts of the stadium.
For example the Northam/Kingsland corner doesn't have enough turnstiles, concourse space to be used for away fans. You would have to always give up about 6 blocks to away fans, which is just stupid.

Why couldn't they move it to the Sunday? 12:30 on the 13th I'll be on a sodding plane, gutted
I would imagine partly because 12.30pm on Saturday is already a slot scheduled for tv coverage, and it isn't on Sunday.

No it wasn't what I meant.
I've already got tickets for all available games before they were linked to the Pompey game. The Walsall game is linked to Pompey, but I got my ticket before it was linked. Surely it cant be right that by buying my ticket regardless of whther it's linked, I miss out on the first allocation. There must be others who have Walsall tickets already, I cant be the only one.
I would suggest e-mailing the ticket office. If you have booked for all home games until the end of the season then they might well let you just buy a Poopey ticket.
-
Simples. Anyone who wants a ticket can have one.
Obviously after us uber-fans have bought ours.

yeah...i was checking my email every 10 mins all day to see if i had got lucky with the alocation...but no deal....4k tickets for a club that has 70,000 season ticket holders is unreal
Oh well, i guess it's helping to answer the "what if" question ...To be in Miami or stay in NOLA for Super Bowl weekend?......No one can throw a party like New Orleans
Part of me would like to fly out to Miami or NOLA to experience it, but it's a lot of cash on the off-chance.
Am planning to get to a game in the Superdome in 2010. I will even buy you a beer George - if you want one?!

My favourite video yet, although the celebration ones are also awesome.
-
By the way, if you think FA Cup Final ticket allocations are awful, have a look at the ticketing arrangements for the Superbowl!

We drank in a Place called Fenny Stratford.
half-Dozen pubs and a 20min walk to the Stadium.
Put "Fenny Straford Pubs" into Google maps and there you go...

I have some Houses of Parliament sauce I can bring, if required. I am sure Steve will be a great host and get in the full range of sauces, mind.
