Yes, Rut, we have Jim Nantz and Phil Simms and had Terre Haute mentioned. They then went on to say what a rubbish place it was, do you get that there...?
-
Jets defense looking superb. This could be a good, old-fashioned, traditional play-off football game.
-
As if drawing Pompey in the cup wasn't enough for one day, it is Championship Sunday!
Gueax Saints! WHO DAT?!
-
Last FA Cup tie was Saturday 12.30 for TV. Expect the same as that is the tv slot.
-
Reckon we will be 12.30 ko on Saturday on tv.
-
Get a draw and beat them at Fratton on a Tuesday night, that is the dream.
-
Excellent news for those of us who book train tickets in advance. Not.

Arse
How was it on the pitch?
-
F*uck off you boring old C*****.
Saints possibly have the gayest set of fans in the country?
**** off you, you nobhead.
They morons that ran on the pitch are the "gayest". They don't create any atmosphere the whole game, they just want to try and charge on at the end.
It would be great to have a loud and intimidating away following, but with mongs like you supporting the club it will never happen.
See you on the terrace at Brentford.
-
A flare would be cool. Better than the boring dullard fans on the pitch.

Cheers Bungle. You must go out in Bristol sometimes, it's only down the road? Wilko lives there does he?
He used to. I've barely ever been out in Bristol. Usually just gigs. I know a couple of good pubs, but not really enough to base a stag do on!
-
Don't know Bristol that well, but know people that do (or Wilko might spot this thread).
I will try and find some info out. Or I could just recommend Bath instead. Then I could give you advice.

I did a degree and I am currently printing via a mail merge 35,000 letters.
How useful.

he's the only Saints player ever to have a competitive hat-trick at SMS
How have you made this up? Here's one other, for starters: http://www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=435650

How's this for an even group!
1 Zambia 3 1 1 1 5 5 0 4
2 C'roon 3 1 1 1 5 5 0 4
3 Gabon 3 1 1 1 2 2 0 4
4 Tunisia 3 0 3 0 3 3 0 3
BBC have it in that order, but to be honest I don't know what the 3-way tie-break is. Assume it is goals scored.
Tunisia don't lose a game, but go out!
Edit: All of the 3-teams in the tie picked up 3 points in the games against the other teams in the tie, all tied on goal difference, so top 2 are the top 2 because of goals scored.
The reason Zambia are top is, I believe, because they beat Cameroon (i.e. it reverts to a two-team tie once the 3-team tie is broken).

Is there a roof on the terrace?
Got my ticket yesterady, hopefully it won't be wet like Bristol Rovers.
What's wrong with rain?
-
Haha. How did I know we'd sell out the seating first!
-
What about Summers? He keeps buying tickets he doesn't even need.
He only goes every 3rd day.

Do we have another game tonight? 24 hours after playing MK Dons?
Seems pretty harsh to me. Did the club complain to the Football League?
It's costing me a fortune, all these games.
-
I would expect the Ipswich game to be an opportunity for Oscar Gobern, as a few others have stated.
James - Thomas - Perry - Harding/Mills (illness permitting)
Antonio - Wotton - Gobern - Lallana
Or he could put Waigo on a wing (Edit: or Holmes), and move Lallana into the middle.
Fort Tuesday less of an issue as Thomas- Fonte - Seabourne/Perry - Harding

I agree with majority of what you say above. although i wouldnt worry too much about allocations being cut, and as for millwall they do that for most teams, i drank in london all day, travelled to the ground and back into town afterwards, only time i was affected was held in after the game for 10 mins.
running onto the pitch is fun though, i've penciled in MK Dons at home for the 2nd leg and Southend at home to celebrate our mid-table finish, must remember to wear appropriate footwear to those games
I wasn't caught in it either (by virtue of not coming from Soton), but I've been to Millwall before and never experienced anything like what happened at Waterloo on Saturday.
Pitch invasions are pretty crap anyway, but they are even more crap when you are doing it for no reason.
-
I always have a good laugh at the concerned "oh dear oh dear aren't our fans terrible, what is the world coming to, ban the lot of them" comments.
I agree, the atmosphere should have been better.
But I also cannot see why you get wound up so much.
Because all of this leads to things that impact on us all. For example the police presence and actions at Millwall on Saturday.
It will lead to away allocations being cut when clubs and police say our fans cause issues.
I am all for a loud, laddy, atmosphere. I would love a bit more aggression in our support. I want some real songs with more than 2 words. But why they have to try and charge on the pitch and every opportunity is beyond me.
-
You are the moron. I would have enjoyed my day out much more had they helped create a good atmosphere. Instead they stood silent for 70 minutes, and then tried to have a fight with the stewards at full time. Morons, the lot of them.
Edit: This post aimed at JRM.

What a game this evening, Ivory Coast go 2-1 up after 89 minutes with a belting 25 yard strike, only to concede in injury time. Then Algeria score early in extra time.
Algeria actually looked like a decent team for the first time today!
