Hmm. Wait and see I guess but a quick fiddle around with a bit of paper showed me that any lineup we could send out has glaring weaknesses in it. My main beef with RH was the negative play that lead to losing points that were there for the taking (Vilka, Wolves, Utd etc.). So if we play positively then it's an improvement for me.

Hopefully a decent formation for BHA. Maybe I'm old fashioned but perhaps he could have figured this out in the 40 days without a game instead of what'll probably be us pissing away potentially winnable games while he figures it out.

Not surprising at all. New manager no-one has heard of with no top level experience. Weak squad and not enough practice games during the world cup. It's like were not trying at all. Is Jones the best we could get, no fucking way. Surely there's a top notch manager who would have come here. We'll barely get another point this season. Championship here we come.

Is that the only friendly we've played? I've not really been following along but noticed on Reddit that many clubs had a few games. Would be strange if having just got a new manager we didn't try out his preferred formation/tactics/lineup etc.
