Wow! A stunning indictment into our failures. We don't have much cash but we've pissed what we had up against a wall. Look at the scouting of Brentford, BHA, Forest, Bournemouth, Wolves etc. It didn't have to be this way. Needs to change pronto.

Looking back I see two really crucial monents in our past. 1) Koeman had been lured to Everton but we must have been one of the most attractive clubs in Europe for a top top manager to come in and really elevate us to the top 4 or 5 in the EPL and perhaps snag a cup or two. Our geniuses brought in Puel. 2) We'd recovered from our Puel/Pelligrio/Hughes eras and then Ralph, God love him had just totally ran out of steam. We were still an attractive team, above the relegation places, looking for an up and coming manager to get us top half and competitive in the cups. We got in Jones, then Selles. Another set of fucking geniuses. I don't think we are ever coming back to the EPL. We've missed the boat, we'll never be able to splash the cash like Bournemouth, Forest et al. are doing. How incredibly sad. Oh what could have been.
