  1. Lowe will never change, he's far too pompous and full of his own self importance to ever admit he was wrong. Even when it all goes tits up this season he'll carry on blaming everyone else. Two people are primarily responsible for the clubs demise; Lowe and Wilde - in that order. Lowe sent us down with his 3 managers in one season debacle. Wilde kept us down by taking over without a plan.
  2. Sadly Saints are in the pack of clubs that if successful would be described as a dark horse. The dire financial losses we are making dictates a realism. The fact that any player that performs even half decently can be cherrypicked in January, the fact we've brought in a lack of quality players in monetary terms, the fact that if anyone wants one of our better players before the transfer window closes we'll snap their arm off - all point to a club in decline, not a club on the up. Last season we scraped through on the last day. I think the NOWT have it spot on, but football is a funny old game.
  3. Agreed, but i think the majority of clubs outside the top flight are the same. However if your players are fit they should theoretically pick up less injuries on the whole. In anycase i don't buy all the whinging done by certain managers about the number of games played. They should be able to play everyday at their age. You don't hear working lads complaining about playing on a Sunday after working shifts all week, nor did the players of old complain about doing likewise and playing with a water logged leather ball which weighed a ton. Kicking a beachball round the park for 90 minutes isn't exactly hard work.
