  1. Trust is the key word. Does anyone trust Michael Wilde?
  2. I thought his position would mean he's the public face of Southampton and do things like the Solent forum. So far there's been 3 posts informing us he flew with Flybe to the Exeter game.
  3. Michael Wilde is poinltess.
  4. Professor has that effect on us all.
  5. I'd hardly call booing Lowe a negative attitude.
  6. Only if the same questions were asked every week to take into account Michael changing his mind.
  7. No and neither will i be putting a single penny into the coffers of SLH until Lowe and Wilde have gone. Does this mean Micheal Wilde will now be answering questions? I'll start the ball rolling. 1. Did you ever have any intention of having a fan on board or was it just convenient to dangle this carrot for PR purposes?
  8. Well done for going to the game Michael Wilde - would you like a medal?
  9. On the subject of the radio station there's a story that was posted on TSF about how Lowe, as bombastic and pompous as we'd expect, flounced into a meeting with the people who owned the radio station and said £1 million take it or leave it (figures could be well wrong). Apparently they were only going ask a fraction of the amount Lowe offered. Perhaps someone else will remember the tale and provide us with it accurately.
  10. Germany Calling!! Germany Calling!!
  11. Lowe's achievements so far are: Played 1 Lost 1 Sacked 1. I'd suggest his strategy might need more time.

Someone should start a new forum up that's free to use. Sod paying £5 to post on a bloody messagebaord.
  15. I think the only question is the extent of todays defeat. Losing 1-0 or 2-1 was about our level last season, with the depleted squad Cardiff should be winning 3-0 or 4-0 today. Today is IMO the start of our relegation dogfight which will be compounded by straight defeats in our next two games.
  16. I would expect the journalist would factor in the weakness of our squad, the past record of our management team, the likelihood of fan unrest because of Lowe, and the real possibility of a points deductions for going into administration. Judging us on these issues does suggest relegation.
  17. Yep, 100% agree. However the closer the club gets to administration the more willing Lowe/Wilde will be to cut heir losses and sell at a reasonable price. If they don't play ball on Fulthorpes terms there's nothing to stop Fulthrorpe from simply waiting a bit longer and buying the club off the administrators. The latter scenario makes the best business sense, but i'm sure you'll agree we'd all rather the takeover happened before this so the transition was smooth.
  18. What's interesting though is that share price has fallen further today to 26p. Does this mean the Fulthorpe group are biding their time and won't make a move until administration or the eve of it?
  19. Nice one fella. Any chance of putting up last years results?
  20. Quite how Wilde has the gaul to lecture supporters is beyond me. One of the main reasons we're in this hole is because he took over the club and then he walked away leaving Hone, Dulieu and Hoos to run the show. Supporters aren't complacent about administration at all. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realise that a company that loses money year on year is in the weeds. The only complacent person i can see is a bloke who sanctioned a £7mil super spend when we were clearly skint. Wilde is a master of spin and waffle. It wasn't so long back he was posting on TSF about Paul Allen, now he's done the okey kokey yet again and is giving out a different message. It's all about which message is convenient to Mike Wilde at the time.
  21. Ticket Office was reading this thread earlier....
  22. I always expect him to walk up th stairs on Dragons Den with Barry the briefcase.

    First 3 games.

I can't see us getting a single point out of those 3 games.
  24. A certain mystery poster on TSF wrote: "As Brian Bennet said in the Echo today "Right now I would say come back Michael Wilde, as most of us really believed that you would be good for this club" Ever since he resigned the Board have gone downhill, with in-fighting and internal politics, destroying the spirit of our Club. IMO Wilde has been badly let down by all those currently on the Board, most of whom he brought in, both Executives and Non-Executives. I am sure he is looking on in dismay at what is happening - particularly with the Executives seizing control of the PLC Board with a flagrent disregard for his Manifesto. I echo Brian Bennet's sentiment - Wilde was always crucial to the success of our club post-RL and we are now starting to see why. I only hope he steps up to the plate once more and delivers the Club from this ridiculous situation (yet again) as I can't see anyone else out there capable of sorting this out and certainly not anyone on the current Board." Well it was Wilde who installed the execs and Crouch was left with the mess to sort out, so i see nothing Wilde can claim as an achievement there. And since the return of Lowe he's been nowhere to be seen aside the odd comment in the echo. Obviously the mystery poster was misguided and more importantly wrong to voice his concerns. As Wilde put it: "Football has been plagued, for far too long, by the minority who take pleasure in playing the blame game and deriding other people's efforts. "There is no place for this attitude at Southampton FC."
