There certainly is something to be said for lower league football from a spectators point of view because a lot of EPL games are complete crap, either because the sides are too unevenly matched or that certain have 3 or 4 weak links in a side that would otherwise be attractive to watch (like Wes Brown and John O'Shea).

As you now have to because the game at the top is now played in a certain way and if you haven't the right personnel you can't play the game at that level. Just been watching Villa/Utd ,completely unwatchable because they're both trying to play a game with players that don't know what they're supposed to be doing,British players trying to play non-British football.

If we believe leftback over this (and many of us do because in selection matters he usually gives us the good gen) we have 5 in midfield and Jaidi and José at the back, thus the team is structured not to lose and stay in the race as NA so quaintly puts it.

Puncheon and Barnard will be on the bench though,getting us in front will be down to Rickie and Lallana as I don't think AOC will make much of an impact at all today, playing far too much football and has an international midweek I think.

Butterfield seems to have recovered yes, he was training on Wednesday (or Thursday) but he was wearing a sky blue bib,which is (sometimes) an indication that he won't be in the starting 11 on Saturday. Strangely Barney was also in the bibs but this may not be particularly significant . also in the "bibs" Puncheon and it would seem AOC as well

Weather reports during the match thread are only to be used in an emergency, like being a goal behind.Getting a goal in front is the reserve of a lucky smoke or some nuns knockers.

That would indeed be an excellent game plan, doubt if NA will use it though.

I'd be pleased enough if we get a draw to be honest.Not that I think we'll lose mind you but this is a tough game against a side who seem to be playing quite well and scoring freely.Our defence is our weak link and we have to hope it holds up this time because if we go one down we might have difficulty getting back on level terms.
