I would say so...at his best...hell yes...would have him right side of an attack.. but we played a different system then...pahars in his pomp was a very dangerous premier league striker who was capable of moments of brilliant skill too

Where have I said he is not good enough. Well he hasn't showed he is. And seems to be one for the future. I would have kept sharp. Which is my point. That does not mean I would have not signed mayuka

Considering Rodriguez has played quite a lot in the wide posititions. It would have made another option... Especially when we have been drawing so many games and wasting so many chances... If le fondre can equal lambert a total from the reading bench. I have no doubt that sharp would have got the odd goal at least

So what?? He has done just above nothing for us There is no doubt in my mind that sharp would have contributed more than Mayuka this season. Just seems a completely bizarre signing

As it stands. Rodriguez is our only credible striker from the bench. Who is often played wide. It could only have been to our benefit to keep sharp here this season. I have no doubt he would have grabbed the odd goal from the bench....even if he just scored 1 and turned one of our many draws into a win. It would be more of an impact than playing for forest.... Where he did not really want to go I would rate sharp much better than le fondre... If he can score as many goals as Rickie lambert from the bench, I have no doubt sharp would have got the odd goal
