I remember the echo reporter saying not so long ago that most stories these days have an element of truth behind them and most are just not made up to get viewers...more so with league 1 clubs... so much goes on that we will never know about...with it being reported on the solent during the match day coverage worried me...not only was it reported they said they had just had a conversation with someone at the club.. why on earth would merrington and adam make that up just before kick off..?

The Hughes thing is probably or deffo bollix. However to assume we won't get anyone as good as pardew is daft. His appointment in the first place was hardly rejoiced I hope he stays but the is no smoke without fire and it worried me when the Solent of all people reported this

This sums it up for me. Maybe pardew and cortese see differently about how to take the club forward Remeber when NC said the cups were just "nice" and they came to saints to get us out of the league. Pardew admitted to putting the cups up there. At the end of the day it is not Pardews money. Maybe markus demanded better? The longer we stay out of the prem the more potential capital markus is not getting

I'm afraid we have to follow NC. He was our king maker. He wanted a DoF and the reaction here wad a ngetive one. So he goes it alone At the end of the day markus and nicola are everything to this club whislt we are out of the prem. Without them we are screwed. If they wanted to move pardew on then we have to back them and see. If they turn us into a QPR then fine, we can make a fuss but even getting someone else in we still have to back them Unless, you want them out f the club? And yes Hughes is a better manager than pardew.

agree..at the end of the day, NC and markus are the reason we have rickie, lallana and co...and god knows who else in the future pinacle would have been a disaster IF pards goes then he goes, I doubt we would get anyone who is worse to take over

like i said on another thread the solent reported before the game that "all of this will come to a head within a week" when talking about all these rumours

pardew better than hughes.. behave yourself ffs, that is why pardew is in league 1 and hughes got the chop for slipping to 7th or so in the premiership
