  1. I never said we were getting them in fact if I remember I said I was living in hope. I have to say I am pissed off with Brighton signing him. Hopefully they are overstretching themselves and will collapse in a big heap. As others have mentioned it was that long ago they didn’t have a ground. There’s nothing I’d like better than see Brighton and the bucket rattlers fail
  2. https://www.sambafoot.com/blog/analysis/cies-pedro-paulinho-and-yuri-alberto-the-most-valuable-footballers-in-the-brasileirao-2024
  3. I don’t think there is a problem. Just some dimwits excited because they think their scapegoat is back. Two games in transfer window still open and the bedwetting has kicked in already.
  4. The fact that no one noticed these predictions does really say a lot. Critics of COT can’t win really but I don’t understand how it remains on the main page . Shame this was such a good forum. I’m sure you’re cope but this is the first season I’ve refused to pay . Social media has changed so fast this is just an obsolete boys own in crowd . yes I wonder why I bother with it. Back in the day The Echo was first with the news, then this forum and was cool with music, clothes, recollections of various dusts ups . It’s irrelevant now so many sources even a lot of my old sparring partners don’t bother with it.
  5. Apart from the usual examples there was some unusual stuff, players getting in the way of each other, not making space for each other, a couple of very indecisive pieces of decision making. Now before I’m criticised for lack of obvious examples . I get wrapped up in the whole game and should have worn my varifocal glasses but if they were obvious to me I’m sure they were must have been obvious to the more tactically aware members of this forum and hopefully Russell Martin. im not back tracking from my usual SR inspired confidence but Matt O' Riley can’t turn the team round on his own. Dragans phone is off, another golfing day FFS. But I will be straight on to him tomorrow, just hope it isn’t a Bank Holiday in Serbia.
  6. Fucking hate Brighton. Still remember when Saints and Spurs fixed that draw. We both were promoted Brighton stayed down. as for Manchester United the Sir Jim takeover is unpopular and heading towards disaster.
  7. O'Riley was called the new Stuart Armstrong but fitter. It was obvious to me why we were after him. Fairly irrelevant know sure.
  8. probably just some idle speculation. Better than the we are definitely getting relegated because ***************** stuff.
  9. Fucks sake leave the poor fella alone. He will be as gutted as anyone. I saw him play in the B match before his last injury he looked ready to rip the championship apart. His hamstring injury couldn’t have been predicted. It’s pointless rushing him back especially if we have the loan striker in the bag 🤔
  10. Every position has been carefully thought through so far. I really can’t see us not bothering with a striker. I reckon we have a striker on loan set up already. A “ let’s see who’s available in the last 24 hours of the window, if there’s no one wing it until January “ plan doesn’t fit in with how we’ve played it so far. while we are at it I cannot see Ramsdale going to any other club than Saints. He has a lot of connections here and will be perfectly used to playing it out from the back. Im going to get shit whatever I say so I still see Matt O’Riley as a goer again loads of connections with the club and there are rumblings of discontent amongst the Celtic fans about Kyogo, O’Riley , Hatate and Johnstone leaving so Celtic board have got to put on a show about that lot going. in fact if we don’t sort a striker out I’m straight on the phone to Dragan Solak.
  11. Coming together very nicely
  12. Yeah he looks really good but we need some players who will hit the ground running.

    Fans Forum

To show they are proper fans if you look closely they wear small pins badges to show how long they have been supporting the team. its a weird time for a fans forum they won’t be able to answer most of the questions anyway, “ how much money we got left for transfers “ the inevitable lets give Bazunu a good kicking “ we all know Baz is a lightweight and we would have been promoted blah are we signing Aaron Ramsdale “
  14. SSN reported Broja was on the list of Everton and Southampton among others. What list ? Talented but entitled Footballers ?
  15. Sadly I see the Newcastle as a free hit. It will also allow the legions of bedwetters to …um wet the bed
  16. even when I don’t post I get a mention. Guessing you are fishing for laughing emojis to boost your low self worth. While I’m here I don’t think SR are loaded but fairly sure they will back us . They said it’s a long term plan and as some of the more perceptive posters have pointed out we have spent a fair bit of money. The money Brentford have paid for Carvalho is insane I’d hate to go down that route. it’s a weird time does Tall Paul have a place in the team . I reckon Charly looks decent. There’s a PLPlayer in Aribo he was brilliant in Rangers Europa cup run the other season. Maybe they stick with those players they know how the team works. seriously whatever your agenda the management will have a very good idea what the team needs . Cannot for one minute believe there’s anyone saying let’s leave it how it is and we will wing it until January then have a rethink. There’s some well iffy teams in the PL as well Everton, Bournemouth, Ipswich, Wolves, Forest, Leicester, we will be fine
  17. Because he would be happy to play here.
  18. Dragan did say that and mentioned a 10 year plan. They also said they’d didn’t expect this season to be as perilous as many would expect.
  19. Firstly we havnt fallen we were promoted. So far we havnt failed to compete with them. Other than that a very perceptive post.
  20. I can’t believe this geezer is serious. He must be saying it for clickbait reaction . If not put the fucker out of his misery.
  21. We’ve been after him for a while . He’s talked to Russell Martin , We've put a bid in. Do you seriously think this is how it works. We bid 15m ( how do you know that’s all we’ve bid ? ) Liverpool say no and we give up and find another player for £15m ? I’m not saying we are going to get him but I’d be fairly sure we have the funds available if necessary . Same with O' Riley. Celtic fans are still a bit jumpy the club don’t want to be seen to let him go without a "fight ".
  22. Who cares if some snowflakes don’t like him. It’s a fact you have to be a bit of a weirdo to be succesful in any job. You have to be have belief in yourself, you have to tread a very fine line between getting on with your employees and at the same time instilling some fear. Sure a football manager, businessman will be well paid but the pressure on them must be immense. Fuck those fans for some bizzare reason some be looking forward to the team fvcking up so they can feel validated. Some call me a SR luvvie for cheap laughs. They delivered last season. The pressure is on now things are settled . Plans are in place. Finances are OK The club have promised us a season of consolidation . We’ve been told we aren’t going back into the Premier just to circle the plug hole . They’ve backed RM let’s see what happpens and I’m still convinced we will have a decent squad by the time the transfer window closes. we aren’t in a position to judge until about 15 or so games have passed. Im looking forward to this season. It’s going to be fun.
  23. That won’t take long.

    Sport Republic

If I remember rightly Gozteppe started OK but not good enough so he got the chop. Ruthless but effective.
  25. I watched him a lot last season quality player. Celtic fans called him a younger fitter Stuart Armstrong. When he was left out of Denmark squad there was a major social media campaign in Denmark even threatening the Danish manager. He is very much Stuart Armsromgish but better. I don’t get the "of course he looks good he plays in the Scottish Premier" Van Dyke did fine. Even Steve Davis did a job for us good leader on the pitch he was past his best when we signed him as well. O’Riley a great player and really grounded his parents act as his agents. I’ve even seen interviews with them. They seem decent people, they live in London and I’m confident they wouldn’t want him moving out of the UK Just an aside his dads in a rock band https://videocelts.com/2022/12/blogs/latest-news/watch-matt-orileys-rock-and-roll-dad-launch-his-christmas-video/
