The Trump deflection comparison is spot on. I mentioned somewhere else it’s a very Poundland version of a popular political manoeuvre

If the EFL take any extreme action let’s not forget Dragan Šolak. He just loves litigation. He won a huge court case in London last year at has been in continual battle with Russian backed President Vucic who even accused Dragan of trying to kill him. He was also involved in a legal battle in AmsterdamThe Balkans including Turkey and Greece is the only part of Europe that is doing well he’s a major shareholder of United Group the biggest comms business in the area. The Premier League is like a soft power asset ,people in that area watch it obsessively that’s why Dragan wants Southampton in the PL he has plans in the pipeline to expand St Mary’s. Gibson is a speck compared to Solak. As someone else mentioned the World Cup coming up which is surrounded by enough controversy.

It’s similar to how politics works. Destabilising story released, press and of course twats on social media repeat the story. It’s the perfect story to spice up EFL playoffs especially as all four teams not especially newsworthy and a lot pissed off Wr🫢h😈m not in the mix. Of course the best way to deal with this story is to ignore it. As I said in my other post this post is working the algorithm. Incidentally I hate the Daily Echo but respect Alfie House but he will be under orders from his bosses to stir the algorithm.

Can’t anyone see what Boro are doing ? Put complaint in. Media all over it. They hope it destabilises our team. i also watched a couple of there podcasts and they are worried their fans won’t be up for the game. it will blow over by then everyone will have forgotten about it. Massive game and on here a lot of people talking about it. like any shit algorithmic story best thing you can do is ignore it. Trouble is even this message feeds the algorithm

Get over him. We’ve got a great keeper now.

Our connection to Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid a myth?

Fitzhugh Fella wrote the definitive article it’s not a myth. -
He is a creature of the night.

Which US superstar should invest in Saints?
manji replied to Stripey McStripe Shirt's topic in The Saints
That’s very politically perceptive. Rupert Lowe mentioned Saints during his interview with Tucker Carlson. NZ and the USA were established by the Empire. -
Seriously shut the fuck up.

The rest of this season is obviously prep for genuine push for promotion next season. In the unlikely event we are promoted this season. I cannot see how one season in PL will help us in anyway. A lot of the larger picture decisions we have made over the last 8 or so months have been intelligent. increasing coaching staff ( it’s becoming a game of set pieces) , bringing in psychotherapists ( all NFL have psychotherapists even elite military units. it’s not a simple game anymore. Changing of cultures , every single mistake anylised on TV. EVERY SUBSTITUTION DERIDED 😎

People just gotta moan. Sadio Mane "crazy money on unknown from some place in Africa” booing him first couple of games. Mick Channon getting vicious abuse in a Man City shirt. Benali booed everytime his name was mentioned in team line up. Different decades but just easier now under the anonymity of social media.

All the shit going down with Southampton ( and a lot of other football clubs) and you post about me for likes. You are a sad fvckwit.A speck. I couldn't say what your last post was about or any of your opinions. But it says a lot about this forum and most of the users. Endless negative posts, complete speculation with zero substance. The continual dredging up of Rasmus *Wankerson* ( so witty) in a desperate search for a scapegoat. FWIW SR are here to stay although in a different guise.

You’ve got to check other clubs it’s becoming a thing to regularly bring out a “concept” shirt at mental prices selling football shirts is a worldwide business , it sometimes helps if you aren’t one of the big clubs. There is a huge market in places in Thailand. There will be some Thai hipster wearing a Saints kit and will be admired because of its obscurity. its the same thing as buying some vinyl of some unknown band from the 70s oneupmanship amongst people vaguely in the know. Southampton/ Sports Republic🤔 would be crazy to tap into it. It’s a thing.
-
a lot of them are made a factories used by genuine kit manufacturers. Where a lot of them use high tech manufacturing it’s easy for some factory owners to spend a hour knocking out replicas Even proper kit aren’t made at the same factory. Incidentally that’s why buying from Amazon is a minefield. Same product totally different factory, the manufacturing volume is enormous so no time for quality checks and if 10,000 people buy shit version and complain it doesn’t matter. Jeff Bezos once said companies are so big it doesn’t matter if they fk up the publics attention span is so poor it’s soon forgotten

I hope you are being serious not ironic. I want believe.

So we have to be negative to get the “likes” and be in with posters on here ?
-
I’m still going with the , best we don’t go up this season ( although that’s not exactly incredible foresight) and promoted next season better stronger. I’m not arguing with you BTW. But what makes you say we aren’t going to have more money/better players ? I’m trying to be pragmatic. I want to believe we have a plan. The club does want to get promoted, we have a vision. Anyone who reads is there’s plenty of understandably negative comments so just hear me out. Maybe because I’m older from an era where fans didn’t expect instant results. I can remember going away to Everton ( and that was a lively afternoon ) getting thrashed 8-0 the following Saturday stuffing Boro 4-0. Obviously no social media and instant fan reaction but I don’t remember the fans getting hysterical. It was what the way things were.

Just read this whole thread. I don’t normally bother. Basically all negativity and a lot of quite lunatic simplistic theories. so I might as well throw in an alternative view. I think Tonda is learning but he needs some back up. Being a manager in apparently one of the biggest leagues in football with a rebuilt squad with is going to be hard work. again I sure I read we have one of the smallest support staff out of all the main teams in this league. Fans need to step back and stop looking for scapegoats". The game generally is becoming like American football with specialist coaching staff, set pieces are becoming important it really is a far more complicated game from when I started following Saints Combination League with Mick Channon still in the reserves. Sports Republic have financially backed well ( yeah I know lots of poor decisions but not all of them ) they aren’t going anywhere. Unless it was a massive takeover the last thing we need is disruption. fucks sake look at some teams that have had “dream” takeovers. Man United fans were saying instant Champion League. Wrexham ( who I especially despise) wonder set up is starting to collapse. Lots of similar examples. 100% SR want Premier League football but do we really want promotion this season ? Really ? OK we might get all misty eyed over Wembley , great days out in London but that was a couple of nice days which inevitably led to one fk of a miserable season. That season damaged the club. yes this with hindsight whatever. I know Hull fans are dreaming of promotion they are ready for it. Wolves potentially heading for the worst record in the The Premier League🤔 I want the whole team to strive for promotion and that will make us stronger but another season in the Championship isn’t going to hurt us. The club isn’t a mess we aren’t a laughing stock. One thing reminded me of that. Gavin Bazuna and Cameron Archer being interviewed after the last match many commentators were saying Bazunu was man of the match he spoke well Archer clearly relieved he had finally scored. They were backing each other it was good. many will want to see that as player delusion I saw that as team cohesion. We are going to have bad runs ( is our home form a bad run ? No) and good runs ,if at the end of the season we have improved ,finish in a decent league place that’s good enough for me. We beat Leeds in the playoffs which team is in a better position to us. and yeah I could have done a short post criticising Baz or Stephens for “likes” but WTF see you at St Mary’s.
-
New series of Stranger Things really disappointing. So much promise but I feel let down…….. what does that remind me of ❓🤔
-
Remember it well and the amount of Saints fans who said we'll never win the league because Liverpool and Miles better than us was unreal
-
Saints doing well . Everyone I know was excited, enthusiastic about yesterday’s game. As I’ve said before, as people on this forum, they need a scapegoat something to moan about. Of course, Bazunu is an obvious target

We are all batshit insane for obsessing over football. If I post up an overexuberent comment so what it’s no worse than someone continually making lame one liners for likes ( I’m not meaning anyone in particular) or the bizzare Circle Of Trust. Incidentally I’m sure Turkish was an early adopter. ive started watching Total Saints Podcast and the fellas on there often comment on the social media abuse because they hold a certain opinion. Now that’s not even batshit crazy the perpetrators are fucking mentally ill.
-
and yeah thinking about it stabilising and having promotion next season fully prepared for PL sounds epic to me. I wrote a long post and you’ve scrambled around to find an actually fair comment for lols. You sad fuck.
-
Strange I’m just posting my opinion. Yet you’ve remembered my earlier comments. Seriously I couldn’t remember any of your posts or your views but it got you loads of lols. Highlight of your week.
