To be fair I doubt Les has much dealing with Gao. Krueger seems to be the main point person but he’s unlikely to be in constant contact. Basically it was Kats decision to sell the club and it was her statements that trumpeted Gao’s ambition. Les and Ralph are bureaucrats and are taking and working with what they’ve been given.

Interesting Hughes singled out Redmond as the one player who can sprinkle a bit of magic in the side.
