  1. On a Sunday? When there is no rush?
  2. I don't think there is any hope that Green would go anywhere and fight for a place. Why would he need to? The guy is easliy a better keeper than Kelvin (and that's despite all the sentimental attachment I have to the bloke). Competition is good but you need the same keeper day in and day out for the defence to have total confidence in him. If he's under pressure from the bench great, but really good keepers will not be a number two. We've seen that with Jens Lehman, Ben Foster, Rob Green...
  3. He needs to go. We are going into war and Puncheon is a coward.
  4. What is it now then??!!!
  5. That is not the PREMIERSHIP my friend. Edit: Jees look at the price! lol
  6. I just bought one of those, framed and signed by the FA Cup winning team members... Looked great in a hospitality suite at Fontwell Racecourse, just fitted in the boot of the estate car. Now in my garage as I do not have a wall big enough to hang the fecking thing!!!!
  7. Ah, but we were only relegated from the Premiership with red sleeves! All else after that is a result of that!!!!
  8. I do know we should never again have red and white stripes and RED SLEEVES. Sunderland in such a kit - relegated. Sheffield United in such a kit - relegated. Southampton in such a kit - relegated. FACT. FACT. FACT!
  9. Thought about £50 each way but I'm not sure my ticker could take us being 1 point off top spot with two games to go
  10. I vote Itchen Dan's white with red thick and thin stripes.
  11. £25 x 2500 = £62,500 2500/3 x £25 = £20,833
  12. Nah, not according to my betting slip. £25 e/w at 2500/1 each = 1/3 odds 1-2. £83,383.33 If you can tell me how to post a PNG from my desktop I'll show you!
  13. I would have thought WBA would be favourites, Woy got them to be a decent mid-lower table side (rather than perennial Championship dodgers). BUT, with Steve Clarke an unproven manager, that equalises things I would have thought. And I bet we'd pay more.
  14. Nah, they want him big time but I still think he'll go to Spurs.
  15. Yes, I admit the wording of your answers responding to what I was saying threw me and I probably read between the lines. If he was unhappy at West Ham and Saints were the only available option, I would accept uhappiness would be a justification for the switch. (That said, I put little value in these rumours of people hating their boss. Unless it is beyond reconciliation, West Ham on paper represents a better career choice than us for reasons we all understand about the FA, history, club reputation, etc).
  16. Then I have no idea what we were disputing as I agree with all of that (bar your view on Reina and Howard who I think are vastly overrated because of who they play for).
  17. Ok, I've made two calls. He will be lining up in stripes next season... Sadly they are horizontal and blue.
  18. Spurs and Liverpool.
  19. Yes, agreed. So let's move on. Do you think he will come here?
  20. I don't care why he wants to leave West Ham. He won't come here if there are clubs who he considers better for his career in for him. And there surely will be?
  21. You said that all my reasons for leaving West Ham were redundant if Green wants out of a West Ham because he dislikes his boss, in direct response to a statement I made about why he wouldn't come to Southampton. I pointed out that those reasons will still be very relevent to his choice of future team irrespective of why he wants to leave West Ham. Happy to clear that up.
  22. Nah, I bet you West Ham would offer him more than we would! They have genuine lunatics in charge!
  23. Good then we both agree he won't be coming here.
  24. I thought perhaps it would get the message across... If Balotelli wanted out would he come here? No. Why? Because he would have options around the world. Think about this. Green wants out. He's an internationally rated keeper. Are you suggesting he is more likely to come here than say Fulham or Sunderland, or Marseilles, or any number of clubs who would be willing to meet his wage demands and would be a better fit for his career aspirations?? I would love it if we signed him. I would be amazed if we did.
