  1. If you went on the pitch would you be surprised if you got a banning order? I didn't go on the pitch because it's published that you could get banned (and overstated on the tannoy). I hope they ban them for a few games just so they realise that the club is serious when they announce "DONT RUN ON THE F*CKING PITCH"
  2. Yeah - and the courts know you do too. :-P
  3. Do you know my missus ?
  4. Nope, not me, between me and the pitch is one row and that was taken up by a bloke and his son, behind me the usual ST holders have been relocated (and if you knew the area you'd know why) and there were no ladies behind me (thank god - when I've got the kids with me I'm very good but without them, not so good at keeping the expletives in )
  5. Yes, the announcements were way OTT, yes the crowd were a little p*ssed off with it. However, I, and about 25,300 of the crowd managed to contain our 'anger' and decided to stay where we were (for me, one row from the front). So, no matter where you sat at the game and what intimidation you had, more than 99% of the crowd managed to curtail their anger and applaud their team at the end. There's always that other one percent in any walk of life BTW SNSUN, don't you get to go to new grounds next season with the other half Bet she's rubbed it in at every opportunity - I'm sure you would in the same situation!
  6. Um, I was next to my other half and some friends and a concrete wall However, I used to live in Tibberton nr Droitwich so coincidences and all that
  7. Watch it - don't get me and .comsaint started. Anyhoooo, isn't an IP code or a NR code worse?
  8. So, summing up - programmes (see, I can spell it right) were pulled because : 1. The printers messed up and they were never printed (seems to be proved incorrect) 2. There was something that Pardew said in the programme that had it pulled (again, incorrect) 3. Had the new kit shown when it hadn't been announced (unlikely) 4. Mentioned something about a player leaving ? (Lallana? Why did he want to take the penalty so much and then celebrate his goal in such fashion?) 5. The new layout of the ground was announced showing the away fans in the Chapel end 6. The season ticket prices were announced in the programme - way too early 7. And finally my personal favourite - I told the other half that I'd put a marriage proposal in there but as the programme had been pulled the wedding was off. Perhaps someone had done the same and bottled it and paid SFC a lot of money not to sell the programmes?? Oh, and I also know that from her reaction this is not a good way to propose for future reference! Whichever it is - strange that the OS or club hasn't explained it given some people appear to be in receipt of aforementioned programme.
  9. I'm looking forward to his second post in (gets the fingers out) January 2011
  10. And I can't understand people who write in Orange However, don't forget there are also people that can vote on this forum who are not Saints fans (some fishy few from down the road for instance).... Sad, I know, but I suppose that's democracy for you ...
  11. Jealousy - we've got 600+ individual fans who have voted on the 'Keep Pardew' thread in less than 12 hours. Which other Saints supporter site has that kind of following? We've got a fantastic cross section of Saints fans on this forum. Take the OP for instance (please, someone take him, please).
  12. Same here - could see the build up and just knew it was going to result in a goal. Very well worked and a perfect strike into the far corner from the keeper.
  13. Blimey - feel sorry for those coming back from the pub Cheers SC for the explanation
  14. Any ideas what's going on? I'm pretty sober but they keep cutting in and out of all the games? WTF?
  15. Has someone b8ggered up the tapes on the Football League show??
  16. And you'll never be happy or satisfied - even if you supported Manure or Chelski - people like you will always find fault even in the purest diamond.
  17. You're getting the idea - positive and realistic thoughts only please. Thanks
  18. Sorry - bruv in law from Leeds as well. All I can offer in retort is "You live up north" - that's about it. Well played Leeds, can see us doing a similar thing next season though to make sure that nothing's certain until the last game of the season
  19. Don't we all? But the difference is that some of us have realistic expectations of what a manager and his team can do in a season. However others just seem to want to moan about performance and be completely negative regardless of the situation. Those are the types of fans we can do without.
  20. Um, Colchester, Brighton - neither of which I did it for the day, was always the game. From your comments tonight you're not really a Saints supporter are you? You just live in Southampton and want to see a game of football every now and then. 'Days out'? lol
  21. Why did you bother going to Wembley then?
  22. OP was an honest question just before kick off
  23. Can we not now try the following? :
  24. -1. You weren't there. I wanted to support the team and thank them. Mindless idiots ran on the pitch because we came 7th.
