Really! Poor old Nick, getting flak from all sides.

I suppose that I am a 'leftie, tree hugging socialist' but this is not the type of society which I want. However I'll not turn into a rabid right wing fascist to try and control what others do! There is common ground to be discovered out there, it's just a matter of getting the politicians to realise it!
-
That's the perspective!
-
Well, that seems to be a very polite shut up!
-
Maybe, just a maybe, Long Shot had been happy to support Wilde and then learned something that made him change his mind about Wilde? Maybe, just a maybe, that's how Long Shot keeps his grip on reality?
-
If Wilde is teetering then hopefully he'll decide to offload his shares, to someone with a bit more nous and drive? But who would want to buy into a club like this? (Go on! say it in a Lloyd Grossman voice)
-
Indeed! It's all to obvious why many team selections and substitutions were, shall I say, rather strange? And what an example to set to the players? How can a manager discipline players when they know that he and the chairman go out on a bender themselves!
-
Thanks Long Shot, presumably you have laid this all out knowing it to be true otherwise you might leave yourself open to attention from parties other than us lot on here! I'm sure that forum members/users may well take a little time to read and digest what you have to say before embarking on a witch hunt against you. It seems that times for Saints are even more perilous than I cared to imagine. I wonder what Mr Wilde thinks of this? Does he have the bottle to lead us out of the arms of oblivion? I very much doubt so when I remember his 'disappearance' when the going got tough last time with the 'gang of three'! I'd just love to know what a real fan like Leon Crouch might make of all this mullarkey! I would think he's pretty P155ed off about it all.

Oh! my twin speaks up! Hope the health is improving mate.

Actually this society did not start in recent years, more like 29 years, five months and 18 days ago! http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/may/4/newsid_2503000/2503195.stm -
Much better, shame that Olly took a red though. let's not get too too too excited! These lads have a long hard road to travel. Well done Saints!
-
Well put!
-
Of course you're right mate, it is the vocal minority that distorts the perception. I really do hope so
-
Thanks Col, your avatar? You seem to be getting bigger each time I see it! Are you trying to catch me up? If so, give up mate 'cause you'll never make it , there's only one BFB!

The plant actually doesn't reach back that far. The flight path doesn't even go over the rear car park. They would have to put the M27 in a tunnel to lengthen the runway, also it may be then too close to housing. Let's hope they don't get the chance to even think about things like that.
-
Indeed, in full agreement. However, as I alluded to in my comment, will the American electorate display that same degree of common sense? I do severely doubt it but hope to be pleasantly surprised.
-
A good point! I chose this forum because it is motor oriented. I also wondered, if elsewhere, that it might attract attention from the more vacuous minded on here! As it is it's doing fine, I have put the same request out on all the Yahoo! Soul groups I am in and the response has been overwhelming! So, what about this Mods? Do you think it may be a good idea?

why do you people tolerate this sort of thing

Most of you are well aware that I am employed at the Ford plant in Southampton. Currently the future of the plant is under review and there is a distinct fear that Ford will close the plant. If they do so it will mean that Ford no longer assemble ANY vehicle in this country! A petition has been raised for submittal to the P.M. in which we ask for the Government to talk to F.M.C. about investment and regeneration of the Southampton Assembly Plant. If you feel so inclined please do click on the link to sign the online petition. http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/Save-The-Transit/ Thanks in anticipation of your support

Oh! everything will be alright then.
