I just love watching football, Saints are, and always will be my first love of the game though. When I'm at home I also watch as much as I can on Sky too no matter who is playing.
When it comes to Saints and England I have almost the same passion to see England win and feel the same disappointment if we lose. However I do find that amongst people I know who support clubs such as Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal that I find England drawing and losing games easier to take. Not to draw any comparisons for obvious reasons I think that my expectation levels are not as high as those who support a top 4 club who expect and often see a positive result week in and week out. I know I'd like to but as a Saints supporter I still try to keep my feet on the ground and I watch England with the same mentality without being unrealistic of my expectations of the game against the opposition we're playing. And sure, I still get annoyed when we lose against opposition I expected to get a result against but that happens a lot as a Saints supporter when I'm watching them play too.
This dosen't mean I'm any less passionate than the most fervent England fan who support a top 4 club but just a little more accepting of the fact we can lose sometimes and more often than not... when you least expect it.
