He was nothing, completely unbelievable, but he did get the SP ramped up. So if my little theory is correct he did his job.

You are only summising, as am I, but someone might have seen an advantage in upping the SP, pushing the club over the edge, and then mopping up.

I think there was more to a lot of the rumours than that. I think there was a big player behind them.

We've never got to the bottom of all that. I said at the time it was all to do with inflating the SP, but no-one has really asked the million dollar question WHY? If you look at it's effect it made us overvalued and unbuyable until it was too late and we then became a bargain basement purchase following administration. I wouldn't want to speculate further...

Leon is the only one to come out of it all with some credibility. He didn't have deep enough pockets in the end, but he tried and he's a loyal fan.

I always suspected the whole point of the exercise (and other exercises) was to artificially inflate the SP. All along I said we were heading for admin and that would be the best thing that could happen to the club i.e to rid us of the PLC status. I also suggested that shareholders take the golden chance to get out before we went pop. At about this time the Saints Trust spunked a huge wad of their subs on a pointless 1885 shares. Complete lunacy.

If he doesn't want to answer fair enough, but although i'm completely against the huge numbers we've let in, on a personal level I once worked with an Indian who was alright. I remember him introducing himself on his first day "hello my name is Godwin and I am a Christian" and he then did that head shake thing.
